Women's rumble was a slog until the Lynch stuff but great finish. I thought the were going Charlotte with Becky vs Nia at Mania.

Bryan and Styles was great despite the dead crowd. Loved seeing the dragon suplex. DB just slows down his offense and it becomes heelish.

Balor vs Brock was close to perfect as a 10 minute match, imo. Willing to sell Brock is the best wrestler in the world. Everyone was standing for it after being silent for the previous match.

Men's rumble started fun and got bogged down. I was really hoping Demon Balor could enter somehow. Rollins is a fine choice. I don't want another Braun vs Brock match.

As for the hot topic...I like intergender wrestling. Nia interjected herself into the match so she was fair game. I wouldn't mind an intergender match at Mania.

Was disappointed they put Styles and Bryan in such a bad spot but they put on a great match anyway.  The women's RR was better than the men's.

The Rumbles were kinda blah (minus the last 10 minutes of the woman's RR) but the other matches were awesome. Loved both women's title matches and Bryan and AJ really brought it minus the Rowan B.S.

My favorite performer of the night was Sasha. Not only does she look the best, she brought it last night. The stomping of the hands, using the arm part of her outfit to gag and choke.....she had it going on last night.

I dared not get invested in a Finn win unless he hit the shotgun to the corner. When he went up for CDG without the drop kick, I knew it was over.

Let's see the demon at Mania.

As for the PPV itself, we hosted folks over for a watch party and did pools. Got out big posterboards and kept track of everything live. Had folks into wrestling and not cheering along.

I wasn't worried about the stuff I normally am when watching a PPV. Just about the drinks, the food, my friends and the wrestlers whose number I had. It was a lot of fun. Wrestling is best enjoyed with others imo.

As an aside, did anyone notice that Nia Jax and Seth Rollins were in the ring at the same time and no one got hurt?

Is R-Truth a Hall of Famer?

They made the comment about how R-Truth thought it was Survivor Series earlier.  They should have had the bell go off for 30.....Nothing.  R-Truth's nowhere to be found.  Then just have Cole be like "Ladies and Gentlemen....for some reason we're going to University of Phoenix Stadium"....and then cut to R-Truth coming out of the back there onto the field, looking around and saying "Is this the right place?".... but just going with the "knocking someone out and taking their place " move twice is lazy.

Also hate that the 30th is known......  it needs to be a wildcard.

The biggest surprise of the night was the lack of a Jimmy John's logo on Brock's shorts.

Overall, I thought it was a really good Rumble. I was about two hours behind, and during the Woman's RR, complete forgot that Bryan/AJ had a match. Knew I was in for a long night.

The woman's RR was better. Crowd had investment in that. The men's was terrible because the bar is set so high hoping for  surprises. Tonight we got Jarrett and it was in the opening--that is it!

I mean everyone of us (admit it) was hoping for that major surprise entry and we got nothing and now we get recycled matches again.
Interesting stats. Last night was the first rumble both Double J and Kurt Angle were in together. Funny considering Angle's ex is Jarrett's current wife

Dolph Ziggler has the most rumple Appearances without a win 13.

Gargano and Candace first Husband and wife to be in a RR same event same night

Ziggler the first athlete to be in the final 4 six times and not win it.

Becky linch first woman to be on the main event for her top title, lose and win the rumble on the same night.

That wasn't a squash of Balor  and that didn't hurt him in any way.  Not sure why anyone expected a 20 min match there.
Uh up until Last night Finn Balor was undefeated atPPVs but WWE will just forget that

Yeah I could've done without The Vegan Villains part

Watch the doc on Mania New Orleans. Brock just tossed the title at VKM as he responds.. #######.
That's so last year news. People reported that when it happened. No-one knows if it was a work or VKM was serious but thats the issue with these Lesnar things you never know whats a work and whats not. All I know is during contract Talks HHH wanted to give him a take it or leave offer as he thought spending all this $$$$ on guys like Brock and Goldbeerg was not financially suitable for the long term investment of the product or the other wrestlers but VKM was hell bent on bringing Brock back. I was happy when Brock first came back. it was a nice moment after everything he went through after dropping the UFC belt and his health. But as time went on you realized Brock doesn't give a #### and only does what he wants. If Brock is invested in and wants to work with a wrestler you'l see a fairly long much (in terms of Lesnar match lengths) but if he doesn't give a #### about you he won't do it. It's why DB, Finn and AJ got longer matches and Brock requested to work with Finn and AJ. He was ok with working with Taker because they are fairly decent friends. However Taker wanted Punk to break the mania streak and Vince called that off. It's set up some heated moments with Taker too. Then VKM ####ed over Punk. In an interview of an event Punk was at prior to the RR his last PPV he was at an axxess appearance and Someone asked him about guys like Brock and Dave Batista coming back. He said he was pissed off not because it took his spot away but because it took the spot of guys like Daniel Bryan who he really wanted to get a Main Event at Mania and hoped they could headline together. He also said it wasn't fair to guys who are there 300 days a year working their asses off. He was also not a fan of the Cena coming back to take moments away because of what a hypocrite he was with his stuff with Rock saying Rock turned his back on the business. Many people backstage laughed because they basically said Cena was gonna do the same and he did. left for Hollywood. People think Punk legit was mad and worried about himself. However he was defending the guys in the back and speaking up for those scared too. His whole pipe bomb the first one is as real as it gets and what he truly felt about the company.

Seth has more freak accidents. He's not a dangerous worker. Nia is just dangerous and like I said Weeks ago she's not fired only because she's related to Rock. Had the person been Dana Brooke, One of the Iconics a Riot Squad member who hurt Becky they'd either be fired or buried. I wouldn't call for NIA's firing but she was brought up from developmental far too soon. The scary thing with NIA is theres a twitter thread dedicated to her botches and its a wonder no ones been killed by her yet.

Truth was Ron Killings and K-Kwik during the attitude era. He's had a nice long career as one of the better mid carders. His Little Jimmy Stuff awhile back was entertaining. I think for Midcarders in the HoF he has the resume. Always been one of the more underrated IN ring performers.

And then at some point they'll roll out the Demon and there you go.  Just because he was undefeated until last night doesn't automatically mean he got squashed or the loss hurt him.  He wasn't going to go undefeated in PPVs for his career.

Never said he was gonna too. But this is the issue with Brock. You can't be having people lose all the time to him and then try to build them up as stars when they leave. This was the biggest problem pumping Roman down our throats and not pushing others as well. WWE has no legit Stars to the fans right now other then AJ. Vince's promo on Monday night literally buried Balor as well

They have 52 weeks a year to build stars. Overexposing them on pointless cold storyline-less matches week after week isn't how you do it. Never has. Never will be.

Brock isn't the problem. Not his problem he's a physical marvel that can name his dates and price. Everyone in that company wishes they were in his position not having to destroy their body week after week.

Getting someone that doesn't look like a child compared to Brock would be a good start. Stature aside, doesn't help Balor has been booked as a midcard guy for the past 2 years.  Glad it was only 10 minutes and 1 PPV.

Eh, Seth can beat Brock at Mania and then the demon can bury him at Summerslam.

That's Vince giving into him. Brock's problem is he doesn't give a #### about the company and it actually is pissing people off. He's difficult to work with especially if he's in any sort of program where he doesn't want to work with the guy. Yes the others wish they had his position of scheduling but they are not thrilled he has zero respect for anyone or anything about the business or the titles. HHH wanted to not resign him. He wanted to push the guys full time on the roster and all instead of having a champ who was only there once every 4 months. I use to the like Brock but the Vince needs to put his foot down and say these are the dates you work if you don't we terminate your contract and you're stripped of the title. Brock isn't drawing the ratings he use to so anyone trying to use that to defend him is naive.

Like I said the other problem is Vince's Roman agenda. Pushing Roman and not pushing anyone else. Anyone who thinks WWE didn't clear Bryan because they wanted his popularity to cool off before sending him back is naive. Vince is petty and hates anyone who gets over on their on. You know why Dillinger was kept off TV? Vince hated the 10 chants during the out of ring count. Know why the ring announcer continues after "this match is set for one fall" and everyone repeated ONE FALL? Vince hated that. Vince doesn't like anything that's his. One of the reasons AJ isn't a Mockery is because Vince doesn't have as much control of Smackdown as he does RAW. Vince is petty and he stopped pushes to feed the Roman agenda as he didn't want anything more over then Roman. It's the same BS we had with Cena except we still had the big named larger then life Stars. We still had EDGE, Hunter, HBK, Taker, etc still. I was listening to a podcast 4 yrs ago from a former WWE creative who said yeah Vince hates anything that isn't made by him, His whole tunnel vision is a Roman agenda and he'll do anything to put it through. He tore people with big pushes down to fit the Roman agenda. Vince has zero idea how today's Business works and runs. He still thinks the big guys with larger then life characters are the way to go. People don't care about that anymore. The Big Shows, Lesnars, Andrea The Giants, The Braun's don't draw like they use too. Its why so many people can't wait till HHH takes over because he has the vision most fans have and want as well. He knows what the people want.

Crowd is 🔥🔥🔥tonight.
thats what the good thing about these PPV's are at least the big 4. You get people from all over the world coming into town and you get ACTUAL FANS at the shows. Less families who are just there to see the Cena's and Kalisto's of the world and those who will cheer their favorites even if they are heel.

Per Wrestleinc

WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett has signed a new deal with WWE to work behind-the-scenes as a producer, according to PWInsider. Jarrett will also be appearing as an on-camera talent.

Jarrett returned to WWE TV as a surprise entrant in last night's 30-man Royal Rumble match. He was inducted into the Hall last year.

Jarrett is backstage for tonight's RAW in Phoenix to work with new producers Sonjay Dutt and Shane Helms. WrestlingINC's Justin LaBar exclusively reported earlier today that Helms has signed to work as a producer for the company. This is the first day Helms and Dutt are working for WWE under their new roles.

On a related note, Dolph Ziggler is not backstage for tonight's RAW, despite living in the area. Ziggler returned to TV in last night's 30-man Rumble match.

More per wrestlinginc

Paige, The Rock and Zelina Vega are all in Park City, Utah today for the premiere of Fighting With My Family at the Sundance Film Festival. PWInsider reported that Vega's husband, Aleister Black, will be at the screening with her, so he most likely will not be at RAW tonight. It was also noted that most of the NXT talent were flown back to Florida last night, so they will not be at this week's RAW and SmackDown tapings.

the other problem is Vince's Roman agenda. Pushing Roman
Yet you're just fine with them pushing Rousey, because she put on a kilt and acted all crazy.

All you fans booing and constantly #####ing about Reigns every single week yet cheering the hell out of Rousey are freaking hypocrites and cracks me up.

No we are mad with the way Roman is Booked character wise. Rousey was fine, she's not being pushed one way or another. SHe's not booked like Superwomen like Roman is Superman. We've wanted a Roman heel turn but Vince refused it. Some wrestlers work better as a Heel then face and Roman is most likely one of then. I actually liked Ronda in MMA because she came off as a badass and it pissed off MMA purest that she took her interviews like wrestling Promo similar to McGregor. I've also seen ton of improvement in Ronda since she first started. We hate Roman's Character and wrestler and creative for how he's booked not the person.
