Totally redeemed herself.Lol oooooooooooooooof Ronda got punked on her promo.
Like I said yesterday, Bayley and Sasha are way under utilized they can get a good match from anyone and make them look like a star. That being said, I can't wait til WM to see Rousey and Becky. This is the best build up for a match since CM Punk wrestled Cena for the title and walked out the building after winning. This crowd not a fan of Rhonda but you can tell the hardcore fans still love Bailey
I agree that Chicago crowd reminded me of the One Night Stand Crowd for RVD vs Cena.Like I said yesterday, Bayley and Sasha are way under utilized they can get a good match from anyone and make them look like a star. Legit living room pop when Becky's music hit.Like I said yesterday, Bayley and Sasha are way under utilized they can get a good match from anyone and make them look like a star. It's not like he's a bum:Truth was Ron Killings and K-Kwik during the attitude era. He's had a nice long career as one of the better mid carders. His Little Jimmy Stuff awhile back was entertaining. I think for Midcarders in the HoF he has the resume. Always been one of the more underrated IN ring performers.
2 world title runs, 2 secondary titles and a 4-time tag champ. Based on kayfabe, you could do a whole lot worse.NWA World Heavyweight Championship (2 times)
NWA World Tag Team Championship (2 times) – with B.G. James and Konnan
TNA World Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Adam Jones
WWF Hardcore Championship (2 times)
WWE United States Championship (1 time)
WWE Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Kofi Kingston
Was this a one-time thing or was it over multiple shows? The ONE FALL thing is a regular feature in Wrestle Circus down in Texas. I've heard it a couple of other times outside of there. I like it; it shows crowd engagement without the crowd going into business for themselves.Vince is petty and hates anyone who gets over on their on. You know why Dillinger was kept off TV? Vince hated the 10 chants during the out of ring count. Know why the ring announcer continues after "this match is set for one fall" and everyone repeated ONE FALL? Vince hated that. Vince doesn't like anything that's his.
To me, it also looks like he's been a pretty loyal soldier to McMahon. Guy doesn't balk at anything. It's not like he's a bum:

I have a lot of people over for WrestleMania every year. It doesn't matter if they "keep up" or what have you. It is just a good excuse to get together once a year. I make all the food, they BYOB. Now that we are a little older, the kiddos are now invited. Etc. Good times. I got a ticket last year for "disturbing the peace". The police watched the Cena/Taker squash while they wrote me a ticket. Even they were interested. All I said was "Its the ####### Undertaker." Yadda, yadda, yadda...invites just went out for this year and a vacation day is taken care of for Monday. I love it. This is like the only time we get really together. Its awesome.hagmania said:As for the PPV itself, we hosted folks over for a watch party and did pools. Got out big posterboards and kept track of everything live. Had folks into wrestling and not cheering along.
I wasn't worried about the stuff I normally am when watching a PPV. Just about the drinks, the food, my friends and the wrestlers whose number I had. It was a lot of fun. Wrestling is best enjoyed with others imo.
VKM canned it because he thought the ring announcer was getting over. Troof. I like it as well. Was this a one-time thing or was it over multiple shows? Shane Helms has rejoined WWE as a backstage guy
I know a guy who was the "Hurricane" for Halloween once. Once. Won money too.Shane Helms has rejoined WWE as a backstage guy
I'm impressed and I don't impress easily. Kudos to you for your ticket.I got a ticket last year for "disturbing the peace". The police watched the Cena/Taker squash while they wrote me a ticket. Even they were interested. All I said was "Its the ####### Undertaker."
of the ticket. It happened. I have no proof. I did go to court for it and it was tossed out. YES.I'm impressed and I don't impress easily. Kudos to you for your ticket.![]()

I'll give bonus points if youof the ticket.
I guess you could try to be more wrong about something, but it would be difficult.Could never understand why Lesnar has Heyman, Brock is fine on his own.
This is fine with me.I guess you could try to be more wrong about something, but it would be difficult.
NXT Crowd did it plenty, ROH shows get it too. Most of the Indies. WWE had it on their big shows and big PPVs when the diehards were attendingWas this a one-time thing or was it over multiple shows? Maybe when he comes back he'll wear a kilt and go crazy and people will love him thenI still miss Roman Reigns

Add 2 Time US Title now!!!!!!It's not like he's a bum:

I'm guessing you really want to spoon with him, and feel his breath on your neck?I assume he's getting my letters.
Ambrose hates life. WWE is not his cup of tea. What's the story with Ambrose leaving?
Not happy with his place in the WWE pecking order. Can't say as I blame him. What's the story with Ambrose leaving?
Needs to happen soon. Fish is 39, Strong is 35, and Cole and KOR are both around 30. Not everyone is AJ Styles and getting better after 40.I can't wait for those ####heads in TUE to be ruling Raw.
Or he sees he'd be further down the pecking order. Two years from now with a Roman Reigns, back 8 months and 100 percent, and Seth Rollins getting run over nightly by the Undisputed Era, the pop when that SHIELD music hits and Ambrose comes out in combat gear will blow the roof off the building.
he hates WWE Creative like all of us.No happy with character directionWhat's the story with Ambrose leaving?
If VKM can't give up being tightly scripted, he runs the risk of losing talent who value creative freedom over cash. That's why he didn't get the Bucks, that's why Cody and Jericho didn't come back, and it will be why Omega won't sign with them. That is not a bidding war WWE is well enough positioned to fight right now, meaning they would be as foolish as I feel I was in dismissing the process that ‘The Elite’ have started. Like ‘The Kliq’ before them, should Rhodes et al see their philosophy catch on then they very well may alter the industry irrevocably and Vince McMahon will need to respond. He will need to do so earnestly too. Half-measures won’t be enough. The seeking of compromised territory won’t be enough. The dictatorial relationship between his old fashioned creativity and the creativity of those who actively practice the art they love – and, in doing so, have far more intimate knowledge of it – will need to end and be replaced with a system capable of writing the kind of cheques that names like Dean Ambrose, Hideo Itami and The Revival have already started explicitly asking to be paid with.
And so it is that, suddenly, Vince McMahon’s pockets are found to be empty.
What has been revealed over the last month, and most certainly since AEW was announced and the intentions of ‘The Elite’ became clear (to pursue their dream at the expense of what we are led to believe were unprecedented contracts offered to them by WWE), is that the money is fast becoming the least important aspect of this already snowballing situation. That it is in the art this war looks to be waged takes WWE’s natural advantage and renders it irrelevant. It is there that the real danger lies.
I can sit here and fault Vince all day but the issue is VKM took the company public which hurts them more. They got sponsors that they can't offend. Heck look what happened with the Fabulous Mulah Inventational or whatever it was called they had change the name after it was found how terrible of a human she was. Snickers threatened to pull sponsorships. However WWE can give more creative freedom especially during promos to those who already know how to do them. Like of the Hardy's, Wyatt, Taker, DB, Styles, Balor, The Club, Drew, Dolph, Becky, etc. Give the wrestlers bullet points and let them go with it. You can get a little more adult with stuff too. DOn't go over the top like some of the attitude Era storylines. As much as I loved that era looking back there were some over the top storylines that shouldn't happen. Bring in and form more stables. It helps with storylines especially ROH and NJPW. It keeps people invested in the characters and all. You don't have to have them wrestle and come out as "managers" for the 2 or so guys wrestling in the faction. Give the talent more freedom in the ring. Finn's move set is so vanilla compared to his NJPW and so is Nakamura's and Styles etc. WWE really ####ed themselves going full Roman Reigns and nothing else. Plus VKM doesn't get todays wrestlers. It's not about money as the Bucks and many other indie guys have shown if you are good enough WWE wants you, well you can make just as much if not more in the Indies and keep all of it yourself plus have the creative freedom and schedule you want. Maybe back in the mid 2000s or right after the Bucks first left TNA VKM could've gotten the Bucks for that $$$ but not now. Wrestlers are also understanding WWE isn't interested in you anymore just because they like you. WWE wants to horde the talent to keep them away from other companies *Cough Mike and Maria Cough*. So they know even going to WWE there's no guarantees you'll get the push. Also theres still a ton of guys like Omega said who are happy with just a paycheck in WWE. Omega was when you think about it one of the first from WWE to say screw that if you can't give me more of what I want I'm done. Obviously it wasn't as public as Punk was so people forget Kenny was in FCW a long time ago.The Elite are already history. This is a great article on the formation of AEW and why I believe it has a chance to succeed as an alternative (not competition) to the E.

Yes, he'll continue to get those who will take the money, but to those who want to be inventive, to have their career matter, VKM right now has nothing to offer other than cash. It is starting to be that that's not cutting it anymore.
I would suspect some of VKM's anal behavior regarding promos is at its base a distrust of the talent. Back in the day, he could count on Backlund, Snuka, whomever to cut the promos he wanted. Once the Attitude Era ended with its free-wheeling, out-of-control, anything goes stuff, VKM went completely the other way and tightened the reins. I think he was concerned about what was being pumped out, but it was making him Mad Money (tm), so he overlooked it.I can sit here and fault Vince all day but the issue is VKM took the company public which hurts them more. It'd also help VKM if he wasn't so petty. Many wrestlers Indies wise know this thanks to Codi and other former WWE guys in the Indies. You can't get over on your own in WWE. If it's not what Vince wants he'll do anything to destroy it AKA Daneil Bryan not being cleared to wrestle when everyone else cleared him. Bryan threatened to leave if he wasn't wrestling which is why WWE put him back on especially knowing the whole YEs movement died down. I mean The SF Giants during their WS run when DB was hot were using his theme and Yes Chants when they scored!!!!!!
Yeah never said we needed ECW or Attitude ERA and I've been saying this paragraph for awhile. The issue is VKM is completely oblivious to what fans want today. He still thinks the Brocks and Brauns are the big ticket sellers. WWE missed the boat right now on getting Tommy Dreamer for creative but he still wants to do his HH stuff and WWE didn't want anything to do with that. Heck they could've put it as a network special every so many weeks or so and maybe had guys who weren't being used in it or crossed promotion with it but Vince isn't about that. I think things will get better when Hunter takes over. 2020 can't come soon enough if reports are believe Vince will spend most of his time with XFL and not have as much time for WWE leaving it in the Hands of Hunter and Steph plus Shane.Tom Servo said:I would suspect some of VKM's anal behavior regarding promos is at its base a distrust of the talent. After the acquisition of WCW, he probably needed all the cash he could grab and so went conservative. It worked for the next decade plus, but then the indies started showing hardcore fans that there were alternatives to the E, and they weren't necessarily crossing any lines. Watching NJPW, RoH, Wrestle Circus, etc. I've not seen anything that McMahon couldn't do, and they don't have to resort to puerile gimmicks and storylines to get over.
No one is saying that the E has to go full adult like ECW, but c'mon; at the very least stop insulting my intelligence. Stop with Hollywood writers and bring in people who know how to write wrestling for TV. Heck, the average fan can do that. It's like Vince's writers aren't allowed to see the results of what they put out in order to get feedback as to what's working and what's not. Eliminate the plot holes and leaps of logic, and my Suspension of Disbelief will not feel the need to punch me hard in the face.
This past Sunday at the Royal Rumble, Nia Jax became the fourth woman to enter the men's Royal Rumble match. After R-Truth came out for his entrance at number 30, Nia attacked him before taking his spot in the match. It appears that there is some legitimate heat between Truth and Nia following the attack.
According to Jerry Lawler in the latest episode of Dinner With The King, Nia hurt R-Truth as she made her way to the ring.
"This got real heat for real. She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall," said Lawler. "He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back there. She made it look good."
Nia ended up eliminating Mustafa Ali in the Royal Rumble match and was then eliminated following a superkick from Dolph Ziggler, a 619 from Rey Mysterio and an RKO from Randy Orton.
Truth turned that heat into a storyline, looking for Nia. He also ended up having two short matches on SmackDown this past week against Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura, the latter of which won him the United States Title from.
Compensation for letting go of the Nia heat and taking one for the team?Truth turned that heat into a storyline, looking for Nia. He also ended up having two short matches on SmackDown this past week against Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura, the latter of which won him the United States Title from.
