I just hate the rehash. Why does it have to be a Bullet Club thing? All these dudes left Tokyo and the BC with it. You can have Gallows & Anderson being Kenny's muscle because of the BC ties, but ditch the Too Sweet.

The one possibility is if KENTA and NJPW do become involved, well then that makes more sense. But otherwise do new things, not old.

Because Bullet Club was the best faction since NwO??  Loads of potential, especially against the Inner Circle.

No just the Elite without Hangman and Codi and joining Biz CLiz The Good Brothers. This is where it doesn't make sense. 

Original BC was Tama Tonga/Gallows/Devitt/Fale AKA Finn Balor in WWE. Karl Anderson Turned on CHOAS and joined. Then the Young Bucks joined followed by Yujiro another CHOAS member (Theres a growing theme of CHOAS members turning and joining Bullet Club) alone with Scott Hall's Son Cody who no longer works in NJPW after numerous injuries.  When Devitt Left for WWE they brought in AJ and Kenny Omega Kenny got Comfy with the Young Bucks. Chase Owens joined the group around this time too.  When AJ Left NJPW for WWE Kenny Omega and he Bucks turned on Styles and Kayfabe fired him from Bullet Club as Kenny Gave him the One Winged Angle Center of the ring at New Years Dash.  Omega announced he was joining the Heavyweight division and was defacto leader of Bullet Club and would have a Sub Group The Elite with Young Bucks. Kenny and Bucks were forced into BC by NJPW. Gallows and Anderson left after Feb with nothing really said other then the announced NJPW after that WK about Styles and Anderson/Gallows leaving for WWE but they were not in agreement with the storyline as they said later they were allied with Styles. At the time in ROH Bullet Club The Bucks were joined by Adam Cole and Adam Page who was then Given the Hangman name. Cody then comes in with Captain New Japan as Bone Soilder and The Elite becomes a huge thing. Marty Scrull came in and replaced Adam Cole when he was Kayfabe Fired from Bullet club (Writing him off tv to join WWE) and Marty attacked Cole from behind.  Kenny made the firing. 

At this time Bullet Club was turning more into a joke Stable then what they were originally Heel wise and becoming too commercialized like NWO had been. Tama Tonga's Brother Tonga Loa AKA Camoacho in WWE came in and Gorilla's of Destiny became a TAG TEAM when Gallows and Anderson left.  Captain New Japan joined the group and was changed to Bone Soilder but it was later reveled Captain J left and Taji Ishimori would be the Bone Soilder. Codi joined around this time too. After WK11 when Omega lost the HW Title match to Okada he left to reassess himself. When he came back the storyline unrest between he and Codi started for Control of the group. At G1 Tama and Omega faced off where Tama question Kenny's leadership of the group. 2018 New Years Dash Codi and the Bucks tried to attack Omega's former Golden Lovers Tag partner Kota Ibushi and Omega made the save. This led to more tension. The Tongans Fale/Tama/Toga stayed clear for the most part of the Omega Faction and Codi Factions of Bullet Club fighting. During this time a new Bone Soilder Taji Ishimori debuted. Ibushi didn't join Bullet Club but Kenny confirmed Ibushi was a member of The Elite now. 

July 7, at the G1 Special USA , Omega defeated Cody to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Title.Omega gave his usual speech after the match , he and The Young Bucks were joined by Tonga, Loa and King Haku. They seem to congratulate them all but then attack Kenny and the Bucks breaking out of their Bullet Club shirts to Reveal the Firing Squad Bullet Club Shirts. Yujiro and Owens tried to play peace keepers, The Firing squad attacked them too. Codi comes out and is offered a chair to hit Omega but hit Firing Squad instead and get assaulted then with King Haku hitting his Piledriver. After the attack Kenny and Codi embraced and the Elite was back together. Fale and Hikula the brother of Tama and Toga both realigned with the now Bullet Club OGs. Eventually Jay White joined the OG's with Gedo and Gado as they were all aligned with CHAOS (Again see the theme) and turned on Okada and Gedo once manager of Okada both had agreed mutually to part ways from one another only for Gedo to plan to manage Switch Blade and they all aligned with the OGs. Ishimori joined the OG's with Robbie Eagles announced as a New Member. 

The Elite (Omega, Cody, Bucks, Page) all left NJPW. In and interview I believe at SummerSlam Fan fest Styles and Balor with Gallows and Anderson Near by were asked by a fan which side of the Bullet Club Civil war in NJPW were they apart of. Balor said since he's an original member he's with the OG's and Styles said since Kenny Fired me I'm an OG as well. Gallows and Anderson agreed. Gallows and Balor also still have some say in Bullet Club as well despite being WWE members. Tama Tonga and Fale texted and called both about the Elites involvement with BC and they all agreed with The Elite in Bullet Club it was not going the right direction it was intended. Not being taken as a serious heel stable and getting too commercialized. They all agreed the Elite had to be kicked out of Bullet Club. And like I said earlier The Bucks and Omega were forced by NJPW to join the stable. In the beginning Bullet Club was an all non Japanese (All Gaijin meaning foreign) stable so putting them in there as heels made sense. 

AEW/IMPACT if they are following wrestling storyline (like I would hope or they should) Gallows and Anderson should not be aligned With The Elite in this case. It makes zero sense especially when Gallows and Tama both admired they talked to one another and agreed to "fire The Elite" from Bullet Club. Ive seen a few people mention this storyline may make more sense now as apparently NJPW is suppose to get involved soon (Might be awhile as Japan with Covid has strict guidelines health wise of letting foreigners and non Japanese Citizens in the country or out) so maybe by Spring or summer if this keeps up and things get back to normal world wide with the Pandemic this happens. However thats mostly speculation from "Marks" hoping it's continued. NJPW never settled the Bullet Club Civil war with a Match or anything as the Elites contracts ended. So there was no big pay off for either group. So I think a lot of people are hoping do to rumors by Dave Meltzer that the AEW/Impact relationship is AEW's pay off of smoothing over bad relations with NJPW brings a very good working relationship and talent exchanges similar to to the one NJPW has with ROH. Meltzer said that Don Callis who is great friends with Kenny Omega a CEO and Chris Jericho who does a lot of day to day ops in AEW is helping with talks since he use to work for the English commentary for NJPW with ex ROH Commentator Kevin Kelly. It's also said Part time Wrestler/CHOAS Member and Broadcast partner of Kelly Rocky Romero is involved with the talks too. That rumor was a month ago. 

This Storyline was suppose to start in Dec but IMPACT had their shows taped up till the New Year do to Holiday schedule. Like I said if there's any NJPW involvement it might not happen till Spring/summer at this point. Don't get me Wrong The Bucks aligning with Omega makes sense. It's just Kenny and Bucks aligning with Gallows/ANderson doesn't.

Bucks were Generation Me in TNA IMPACT years ago around the Time before Hogan was there. Them and MCMG and Beer Money put on some very good classic Tag Team Matches. Some of the best Triple Threat Tag matches I'd had seen at that point since Hardyz/Dudleyz/E&C. Definitely recommend anyone with any access to The IMPACT vault to check those out

Because it can get over really well on mainstream TV. Remember when Bullet Club was huge in Japan and ROH, ROH wasn't on a mainstream TV National network like Dynamite is. If this ends up including NJPW then NXT is in serious trouble. It creates clicks and those who only Watch NJPW and not dynamite and Vice versa this could be huge especially WITH NJPW trying to branch out now big time in the USA Market.

I saw tweets and it was funny from parents. Also Twitter mistakenly put the announcement under the Politics Section which caused some really great jokes. One dude 

"I don't know why Caillou is in the politics section and I use to watch the show when I was younger, but if he is guilty of some sort of war crimes I believe it." 

I have numerous friends who are parents who popped some bubbley yesterday over this news

If I had the credentials of TIS, I might be a tad torched that I kayfabe lost to Hogan.

From a storytelling sense, there's some validity to bringing it back.  We've all had friends we drifted away from and then gotten back together.  I'm willing to give this a chance; if it ends up being a nostalgia tour, then I'm off the train.

Not that your statement isn't valid, GB.  I'm just presenting a counterargument.

I actually did. The Short Version is When AJ Styles was in Bullet Club and left for WWE at New Years Dash the night after losing to Nakamura for the IWGP IC belt, after their tag Match Kenny hit Styles with a One Winged Angel after the Bucks SuperKicked him. Kenny Said AJ was fired and Kenny at the time a JR announced he was moving to the HW division and now leader of Bullet Club. However with the Young Bucks decided to Make a Sub Group called THE ELITE (This is what The Elite name was born).Omega in an interview said they were still part of Bullet Club but Bucks and him were thrown into the group never wanted to be in it. Cody Debuted at another WK and after Kenny lost the main event too Okada for the belt decided to take some time off. Cody at that time started taking a leadership role in his absence. When Kenny came back it led to tension. When Tama Tonga and Kenny faced at G1 that boiled over with Tama questioning his leadership ability. At New Years dash the following year Cody and Bucks attacked Kota Ibushi after the match. Omega came out to save Kota his former tag Partner during his first NJPW stint they were called The Golden Lovers. This led to more tension in the group. Kenny and Cody had a match in San Francisco at a G1 Special where after the Match Tama Tonga his brother Tonga Loa (Former Camacho in WWE) and their father Haku. After the match Kenny gave a speech but at the entrance ramp was attacked By G.O.D Tama and Toga and Haku. Chase Owens and Yujiro tried to talk sense but was attacked. Cody came out with everyone thinking he's aligned with the Tongans and given a chair. He attacks them and is attacked by them all. After the Tongans left who had revealed they were now Bullet Club OG Firing Squad Cody and Kenny embraced confirming The Elite was back together. Matches over the next year happened between feuding members of both factions. After the event Bad Luck Fale one of the founders and Hikuela Tama and Toga's brother confirmed part of the OG's. Tama revealed in a YT video Taji Ishimori who he recruited for the JR Div had aligned with them. 

Yujiro and Chase Owens aligned themselves later with the OGs. 

Guys Kenny Omega "fired" included Adam Cole and AJ Styles (So those two going to AEW and aligning with The Elite makes zero sense if that were to even happen.)

During a Q/A at fanfest for SUmmerSlam Aj Styles and Finn Balor AKA Prince Devitt and original BC Leader were asked who's side in the BC civil war. AJ said OG's because Kenny Fired me. Balor said OG's because I founded the group with Fale and Luke Gallows. Gallows and Anderson were also original BC Members. Tama Tonga and Fale said in an SI interview that Balor still has some say in the direction of Bullet Club and him and Gallows both agreed it was time to Kick The Elite out of Bullet Club. 

So Karl Anderson and Gallows are OGs to Bulllet Club. There was no storyline excited but during broadcasts of NJPW English it was always referred to that Gallows and Anderson left because of being Friends with Styles. 

The Original Bullet Club was Devitt/Fale/Tama Tonga then Gallows with Anderson joining a short time Later. 

Jay White when he turned on Chaos and Brought Gedo and Gado over essentially aligned with OGs. The problem with the whole storyline was NJPW never got the payoff ending for this. Like no big match where Loser leaves town etc which should've happened as The Elite's contracts ran out at the height of the feud. This is one of the issues NJPW execs had with former President Harold Meji for letting the Elite Walk along with losing their English TV deal on AXXESS

 
Well this got interesting. I heard this mentioned last night on the weekly Wrestling news podcast I listen too. If you guys remember a few yrs back Bullet Club was "apparently" (I use that in parenthesis right now) to Cease and Desist using the Too Sweet hand gesture as they apparently owned that and N.W.O From WCW (Not sure the legitimacy of NWO as this was originally a New Japan Faction that Bischoff copied). Everyone believed it do to how petty Vince and WWE are. Bullet Club then Started to make the Two Sweet Hand Gesture but then in like a bowling windup motion would all lock the Two Sweet upside down. On AEW Dynamite on Wednesday Night we saw Omega at the end get attacked by Jon Moxley only for Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows (Two of Bullet Clubs Original Members) come in and attack Moxley. When The Good Brothers held Mox so Omega could hit him with the Barbwire Bat Mox brought in The Young Bucks who were part of Bullet Club at one point with The Good Brothers come in. They turn on Moxley and beat him down. The ending shows The Good Brothers and Omega hold Up The Two Sweet and then The Bucks go in on it. 

Bullet Club NJPW OG's Tama Tonga (an original with Karl Anderson) along with Fale (another Original) both questioned the legitimacy of what the Bucks had told everyone of the Lawsuit now. Tama said "No Tongans then No Real BC" 

There's suggestions that The Bucks used this as a marketing ploy to sell more merchandise. Good for them but this is another reason why the OG's kicked The Elite out of Bullet Club. They were turning the faction into a joke and it wasn't legit faction being taken seriously. I always liked BC from the beginning but after awhile The Elite got incredible annoying. I was so happy when the Tongans turned on them and found out The Elite had been kicked out of the stable. Watching 2019's G1 you saw BC up to their old original tactics again which was a breath of fresh air. The Elite had their moment in BC but it was time to move on

Tama Tonga and Rogue General Fale question legitimacy of the Cease and Desist order WWE sent for Too Sweet

 
I'm not really familiar with all the bullet club story lines from the various promotions so if they want to bring it to AEW I'm down.  

What I'm not down with is the fact that we are over a year in on Dynamite, and I don't think the wrestling has really improved all that much.  It's way too sloppy way too often, way too spot monkey heavy, it's just not the quality I'd expect to see on a prime time national promotion.

They have a lot of really good young talent but gosh darn are they green green green, and I don't think they are in the right place to actually learn how to wrestle.  Cornette is a cranky old man, and he makes his hay these days by ####ting on all things modern wrestling, but that doesn't mean he isn't right about some of this stuff.

See my above link. You can watch this 5 or so part series Kevin Kelly explains it and Wikipedia does a good breakdown of all the stories if you are into reading instead. I suggest using both though to familiarize yourself with who's who. Tama Tonga just overalled his whole look for World Tag League. He's now clean cut no beard or Long Hair. looks about 10 yrs younger now 

 
Bandido Mexican Luchadore who is signed with ROH confirmed he has resigned with the promotion per his social medias. He's one of the hottest young Luchadores talent wise. WWE before he first signed with ROH tried to sign him.

You’re not wrong; when two of their EVPs are said spot monkeys, well...

while there are green guys/gals on the roster, they seem to be getting better. Part of it is they have to grow their own talent. Guys like Cage, Starks, and Omega bring in non-WWE experiences. Couple that with former WWE guys, Japanese talent and some indie guys, you’ve got a roster with varying levels of ring time. The trick is bringing the less experienced up to speed working TV matches. 

 
JR gave some new Details on Brodie Lee's Condition. Brodie was waiting for a lung transplant as he had Double Lung Failure but he never got healthy enough for the transplant. That and it was super hard for them to find lungs for a male his size. JR said if  Brodie had gotten the transplant and it worked he'd be on so much immune medication and other things he most likely wasn't wrestling again. One of AEW PR Relations people made the Phone call to move Brodie to the Mayo Clinic and no one really knows what caused the problem. AEW people kept the ordeal private as thats what Brodie and his Wife Amanda had wanted and AEW and Amanda both knew a few weeks prior her Husband would not make it. Brodie lee Died a few weeks after his 41st birthday on Dec 26th 2020.

Wrestling Inc. has learned that Dalton Castle is now a free agent. Dalton signed with ROH in 2013 and won the ROH World Championship in 2017 with a victory over current AEW EVP Cody Rhodes. He is now free to sign and appear for any company he wishes.

 
Rumor for Royal Rumble: 

There's been talk going Around that the former Damian Sandow AKA Aaron Stevens may make a surprise entrance into this years Royal Rumble.

More questions around White's situation arose over the weekend, though. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that White told All Elite Wrestling officials back in 2018 that he had just re-signed with New Japan on a seven-year deal. Meltzer noted he wasn't sure if White had actually signed a new contract, though.

Switchblade has also been featured on New Japan posters for their upcoming shows at Korakuen Hall, which would suggest they believe he is sticking around for at least a little while longer. He was used alongside the likes of Kota Ibushi, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Will Ospreay. New Japan plans to hold 15 shows at the venue between January 17 and February 28.

LOL, flipped on Raw for the last few minutes just to see what the main story was.  The big downside to taping the end of a match with special effects before hand is when the person involved cuts his cheek towards the end of the match, but magically does not have a cut on said cheek during the ending.

 
I just read on heelbynature.com that there WWE is planning to turn Seth Rollins face when he returns and have him challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal championship at WrestleMania 37 this year, which means he may win the Royal Rumble in a couple of weeks.  The storyline revolves around the fact that Seth just became a father recently and he wants to set a good example for his daughter.  So that means the story of The Shield has come full circle.

I personally like Rollins more as a face, maybe not on the mic, but absolutely in the ring. His moveset is classic white meat babyface.

Except his child is a baby now. And when she’s older, she can fire up the Network and see Dad’s days as a heel...just like she can surf the net and find out that Chyna did porn.
