*** Official Rams at 49ers TNF Thread *** (2 Viewers)

Ok, i think I saw Watkins once on that drive.  So weird.. I thought getting traded to the Rams he'd stick out as far and away the best WR on the team, but it looks like he's stuck in a rotation like a WR3/4 on their team.  I guess this is what he is.

Next Andre Johnson is what heard.

Navarro Bowman has lost it.  Already been run through 2-3 times. Man, I liked watching him when he was on.

Girly got tacked kind of weird on that last play. He seemed to get off the field okay but it looked like it might have twisted something.

Someone ought to put Watkins in Chuck Norris' next Missing in Action movie.
I was in the minority, but I genuinely  thought going from Tyrod to Goff would be an upgrade for him.

And it would be, if Goff weren't treating Sammy like he ran over his dog.

It's not just that he's not getting thrown to, he's not even making the field.

There will no telling which Rams WR will eat from game to game.  As Goff gets comfy he will keep spreading it.

I mean, I've seen him out there a few times tonight, but Goff literally hasn't looked his way once. I don't think he's looked to his side of the field once.

Someone's gonna have to talk me out of rage-dropping my 6th round keeper pick.

Watching them go from Willis/Bowman/Borland to what they have now is crazy...Reuben Foster is a beast though. But you expect a studly ILB duo to carry you for years...or at least you did in the past. Crazy how quickly it fell apart due to age/injuries/retirement. Guess you could say that about the 49ers entire squad from the Harbaugh SB years to now.

What's really awful is that LA is looking strong on offensive against a defense that Seattle did nothing against, at home! Doesn't bode well for SEA at all the rest of the season.

Yeah, I agree with you that Goff is pretending that Watkins doesn't exist.  I guess I should say I also don't understand how the coaches can tell Josh Reynolds and Pharoh Cooper to take the field over Watkins.  Why trade for him and make him your WR6 or whatever?  This is baffling.

There is a certain threshold of OL competence below which an NFL offense is unable to function. It's like engine oil - less isn't that much worse than more ... but too little and it seizes up.

The Hawks and Giants' OLs are seized engines.
