Official Sam Bradford - QB (1 Viewer)

My guess is that with 2 ACL tears to the same knee they wanted to wait for test results.

But I agree; it fits, and it's best case scenario.

As a Diggs/Cook owner I really need Bradford back out there. And as a Bradford owner in one league, yeah - get well soon Sammy.
Yeah Diggs was not as good without Bradford. Bradford is also a QB for me in a different league. Everyone laughed when I grabbed him in the last round... if he's healthy he can be a QB1 IMO.

Hope he's back this week

Nothing good is going to come of this. Hate to say it as I was rooting for Bradford, but I think it’s time to cut him

Little bit of Archie Manning Syndrome here, the poor guy was so beat up in his first few years that it's tough to ever get healthy or right after that. Archie might have had 3 solid healthy years in his career, I don't think Sam will even get that. Bets of luck to him and the Vikes.

If the Vikings want to trade their 2018 first round pick away for another crappy QB, the Jets will officially make Josh McCown available.

Feeling bad for Sam and the Vikes.  He was off to such a good start.  Looked so good week 1.  Those poor knees...Rams killed him me thinks.

I actually feel bad for Sam. He looked great Week 1.
Your suggestion actually has me debating if McCown might be better than Keenum?

Probably not.

If the price wasn't that much I wouldn't be against it. What do you think the Jets would be asking for him?

Is McCown too good for the Jets to lose enough games? Is Bryce Petty going to be starting soon anyways?

38 years old. Certainly not a long term solution.

He's better than Keenum but likely not enough to make a difference. I would imagine if he was traded it would be for a 7th.

McCown will be hurt soon himself and if not hopefully benched so they could take a look at Petty and Hack.

Or, you know, they could sign Kaep who is better than Keenum and not trade anything away.

Rumor is he is going to get arthroscopic surgery. Minimum 6-8 weeks out if true.

wonder what kind. I stand by my cartilage defect theory. I actually wonder if he will have microfracture. I'd be pleased with my abilities being right yet again but ticked off because I was counting on Bradford this year....

I'd be shocked if Bridgewater played this season.
Not saying I disagree, but Rappaport (and a few others) having been recently saying they expect Bridgewater had been looking good, and they fully expect him to be ready to go by the middle of the season when he is eligible to come off the PUP.

A Diggs owner can only hope...

I mean who knows. Just have a hard time believing it.

Can anyone remember a time when a player (in any sport) went to see Dr. James Andrews for a 2nd opinion and didn't miss a significant amount of time? I serious can't remember one.

Why do we always call him Dr. James Andrews and not just Dr. Andrews? Is it because when you add the first name it is more scary? and  you are always scared when you fantasy players or hometown players go visit him?

Teddy almost lost his leg and Sam has a bone bruise. Seems to me those wanting to throw aside Sam for Teddy already are just a wee bit overreacting. Teddy is a good guy but Sam has shown alot more promise than Teddy IMO.

Many times, though I play fantasy baseball as well. More players and so more visits to Dr Andrews. Some are clear. Some are a sprain instead of severed ligament.

They said the doctors had a hard time reading the MRI due to the scar tissue. No one better at reading MRIs than Dr Andrews.

So he may read it and agree that there's no significant damage to the knee.

or he may read it and notice something no one else noticed, ending Bradford's season.

The worst visits to Dr Andrews are to "confirm" or "get a 2nd opinion about an" ACL - that's where player X is diagnosed but doesn't believe it.

In this case the doctors said it's a bone bruise - and he's going to Dr Doom to confirm.

But of course, he could find something.

Hopefully it's good news.

Similar to when your mom calls you by your full first name and throws in your middle name.    You knew you were caught and about to get punished.  "Michael John"!

Yeah I guess Keenum is 2-0 vs the Bucs. No idea why or if he actually had something to do with those outcomes, but that is the story going around.

The Vikings are at home which helps. About the only silver linings I can find here.
Lovie Smith.

Different defense now, but they have a couple key guys already ruled out too.

Clearly so people don't confuse him with this guy:
