Alex Smith (the TE) had a great season last year. I had him on my college dynasty team and he had multiple 100 yard games.

Why is that because he evaluates where one will go in the draft and is usually about 75 - 80% correct? He has said himself he is not a scout.

He always looks like that. I'm not sure if he really isn't working hard or if he just moves so naturally that it just looks like it isn't.

Matt Jones is "THE MOST LAID-BACK" athlete I have ever watched perform. Before, during and after, he appears nonchalant and even that he doesn't care. I heard him do a national sports radio interview immediately after a big win and he was eating pizza while he was talking to the interviewer in a live interview.He also has "natural" speed, he never looks like he is running hard, but then he is by his opponent, on the basketball floor as well as the football field.I just wonder if the NFL scouts will see that, at the Senior Bowl and at the Combine and question his attitude?

Matt Jones sister was my girlfriend....in 4th grade! haha....he and his family are from Van Buren, which is where I grew up. I know Matt well and he is always laid back, whether at church, home, school, everywhere. He slept through a tornado that hit our town in 1996. He woke up and there were no walls around. The dude is just naturally relaxed, but damn what an athlete.

For a guy that didn't do a whole heck of a lot in the game (2 asst's), Barrett Ruud is getting a TON of love from the announcers and the coaches of both squads. Seems like he had an exceptional week of practice. Not a 1st RD guy, but it appears he's pretty much locked up a 2nd RD paycheck.

well, it's not like KSU is a top academic school... Alright, had to get the obligatory joke out.Seriously, Sproles will be an asset for any team. If it were up to me, he'd land in Green Bay after they let Davenport walk. He could immediately be a top return specialist and change of pace back for Ahman Green, right after Tony Fisher.
