Noticed the name of one of my favorite authors, Kem Nunn, in the opening credits. Guess he's a "supervising producer" and wrote a couple of episodes. Not sure if this is a good thing.

So who from the show is missing a foot?
One of the new guys that was a nomad.
Who were they beating up?
Unser
Why?
I have no idea.If it was the Nomads, it could be a few reasons:-Jax might've sent them if he became convinced Unser was the leak for the RICO investigation.-Clay might've sent them for any number of reasons.I highly doubt both of those (Jax would want to be sure and I assume Clay's hoping to kill Unser himself one day) and I don't even remember a one-legged Nomad. As I said, I have no clue. I know Unser was the one that got attacked. No idea why or who.

This episode pulled me back in a bit and I'll put up with the horrid writing and plot development. Pearlman runs circles around most of the cast and his skills were on full display last night.

The scene that made me :lmao: the most was Tig's daughter being burned. Not so much the killing but his reaction (worst acting ever?).

I like the addition of the black dude from Lost and Smits although this show has far too many characters and many need to be killed off/go away. I still find it funny the IRA would get involved with some two bit biker club from Fresno.

Poor Opie :kicksrock:

Yep, Pearlman was fantastic. Amazing how such a large man was able to seem so frail. Tig - horrible death scene acting last night.

Unser is the third in the string of home invasions in charming where the victims had ties to the MC. None of us around my place remember a character missing a leg.

I agree. Pearlman looked frail. And I also agree about Tig. I think the guy who plays Opie is a good actor.

Is this going to be like the Breaking Bad thread where it seems like 70% of the posters just have the show playing in background and then come in and ask "Who is this Charming person?" and "I just noticed that's Peg Bundy"?

Agreed on the burning scene. That scene should be taught at acting schools as what you shouldn't do in a painful scene.I was leery on Smits being added, but I like his character so far. In Dexter, I thought he was kind of robotic, but not here. But I'm not a big fan of the Lost guy. Don't buy him as a badass. Not by a long shot.

Opie was ruined for me when somebody (probably from Bakersfield) said Opie was the LB (strong side left) from Remember the Titans.

Ooof. I could have gone my entire life without knowing that. A few questions: Pope killed Leeroy off and the other guy to show he's in charge of the 19'ers. Okay, got it. And he killed Tig's daughter because he knows Tig killed his daughter. Okay, got it. But who was the guy that delivered Tig to him? He said Oakland PD, right? And then Tig strangled him when he showed back up? So the Oakland PD delivered Tig to a known gangleader and then casually showed up a few hours later to clean up the mess? Very strange scene.Still wondering how Jimmy ended up rocking with Peg so early in the episode. So we are to believe Peg is done with Clay and is out looking for some action? Ok, I guess that works.Unser as the victim of a random home invasion means that club is going to get involved in finding out who is behind the crimes. OK, great...they'll help the sheriff find the bad guys and the guy with one leg. But considering Pope is a bad guy, Smits has a role...isn't that yet ANOTHER (third) character set to add to things? It's getting a little complicated in Charming.

Unser helped SAMCRO lure Stahl to her death. Not really much different. Just different cops in different people's pockets.

He was also the GI in "Saving Private Ryan" that had a German grenade go off right by his head.Ryan Hurst's dad played deputy Cletus Hogg on "Dukes of Hazzard".

We already know who was behind the home invasion.

Are you confused about my statement or about who is behind the home invasion?

I thought it was fairly obvious. It's a guy with a prosthetic leg.

Yeah...it's one of the Nomads. Jax called him Peggy and he put is fake leg on the fat dude's shoulder during the vote-in.

When the club gets wind of this, I bet they're going to be hoppin' mad.BOOOOOOOOM!

I thought the Oakland PD guy was there the entire time. And I also thought they established pretty clearly that Peg is through with Clay... you miss their scene in the bedroom?

Pope told the Oakland PD to go get the cleaner. He returned with the dude Tig emptied the gun into.

 Today, you people are no longer maggots. Today, you are Marines. You're part of a brotherhood. From now on until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother. Most of you will go to Vietnam. Some of you will not come back. But always remember this: Marines die. That's what we're here for. But the Marine Corps lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.

I find this characterization of the Oakland PD to be corrupt to be completely unfair and ridiculous. :lmao: :lmao:
Has there ever been a positive portrayal of law enforcement on this show? They are either corrupt or megalomaniacs that don't care how the law is enforced. Kurt Sutter sees the world through the eyes of a 17 year old detention hall regular.

Thanks for the cool but completely unrelated to anything being discussed quote!

It's a quote from Saving Private Ryan.
