Finally caught the season opener this weekend. I liked it, but I hope the rest of the season isn't going to be an over the top gore fest.

I want to throw up every time Gemma is on screen. (although that's not what I mean by "gore fest").

I would say no.

The AVClub comments section is also a hive of hilarity/utter skepticism. On the flipside, the SOA facebook page is full of WT that, I believe, think this show is actually real.

And would anyone really call it Mayberry at this point? They have shootouts, explosions, school shootings and the Sheriff just got gunned down in a gang leaders kitchen..... not that anyone really cares about that.
