Agreed. Happy Fish is gone and Joe is still in it. Can't wait for Abi to be gone but I'm afraid prepare going to want to take her to the end. She is too unpredictable to keep around.Great episode so far...great season so far. One of the best in years.
Seriously, WTMF?Can't believe fish split his votes. Idiotic.

And had he voted twice for Abi?I agree it made no sense.Seriously, WTMF?Can't believe fish split his votes. Idiotic.
However, it would not have made any difference in this specific vote using hind-site.
The final votes tonight were:
Joe 2
Abi 3
Fish 4
Had he voted twice for Joe, all that changes is that Abi gets 2 and Joe gets 3 but Fish is still out with 4.

Glad to see Joe live to see another day. Just more evidence of how stupid Jeremy's "save" of Fishback was in the prior council, though. I still root for him as my favorite second to Joe (swoon), but I"m losing faith.
Spencer continuing to show great game play. Tasha still looks set up for a good run, too.

How do these people fix their feet issues after this game? Some of their feet looked like they were rotting. Is there a medication to fix that? That was horrible. Those contestants are getting chewed by the bugs. Jeff Varner mentioned before the season started that a lot of the contestants got infections from the bug bites.
Fire building between Fishback and Abi would have been a sight to see. That could have gone on for hours.fire building or choosing rocks I assume. All though at least according to the edit he was never going to vote twice for Abi in any case since he really wanted Joe out and just tried to be too clever in flushing out an idol.
Jeremy actually wanted to keep Stephen around, and he didn't know what the advantage was at that point.first tie-breaker when >2 receive votes is a re-vote, where you can only vote for 1 of the tied 2. I'm guessing at that point that Stephen's advantage is moot.
in 1st half of the episode, i was wondering why Jeremy just didn't tell Stephen that he was a target, and get him to burn the advantage. It wouldn't have mattered (vote was 7-3, i think, so would have just been 6-4), but you don't have all the downsides of burning an idol.
I don't think it was a bad play to save Fish because of who it took out. Ciera had to go. They started with a 8-4 advantage and it was about to be 6-3. With all the mistrust in the main alliance, those 3 girls were about to become the most powerful group in the game.Jeremy and fish both overthinking this thing. There was no reason to save fish with the hidden idol, particularly when others in your alliance were gunning for him. It makes you look like a #####. Jeremey is in trouble. He'll need to play his other idol soon, then he will really be a target.
Spencer and joe looking good right now. Joe survived the scenario that should have doomed him. Wentworth as the long shot. Abi a lock for final 3. What a moron.
That was a strange decision. He had to know Fish's days were likely numbered based on the conversations within his own alliance. I guess, with 2 idols, he tried to change the game, and keep his closest alliance member in the game, but that's about the extent of their strategy. Fish kept talking about how great his advantage was, but it doesn't work so great if you don't know that everyone is still gunning for you and you are splitting votes.Jeremy and fish both overthinking this thing. Now....how in the hell do these people fix their feet after being on this show? They were disgusting. How do they recover? Medicine/
I think it was a series of bad moves. You mention mistrust and those 3 girls becoming powerful. Well, who put those 3 in that position? Fish and Jeremy (Spencer went along because he is just going along). That was the first of the bad moves. Fish and Jeremy were in pretty solid control of the main alliance and the main alliance only started to mistrust because of that vote to remove Wiggles. Heck Wentworth now has another idol and had they not sided with the 3 girls, she's most likely gone already.I don't think it was a bad play to save Fish because of who it took out. Ciera had to go. Good point, so did Fish. Their (Fish mainly) first mistake was listening to Ciera about making moves and using the 3 girls. Fish kept saying he wanted to make moves just to make moves and I remember his post vote off interview. He said something about being the first ever to make someone not vote at tribal as if that is meaningful in any way. Sort of like James being remembered for going home with idols in his pocket. Jeremy isn't a good player, he just found 2 idols. He and Fish made gigantic, obvious errors and Jeremy is in big trouble now.Jeremy fell victim to Survivor Fancy Play Syndrome.
Great episode. Can't believe they didn't vote off Joe. Glad Fish and Ciera are gone.
Starting to pull for Spencer after Jeremy just gave away an idol.
That, IMO, is a bad view.. By playing the idol he basically alienated over half of the people that will be on the jury.. As much as you might believe it is "good game play" Jury's have shown over and over again to hold grudges..I think people are making too much out of the Jeremy idol thing. It's easy to say in hindsight that he just threw away an idol, but I liked the play. Openly make a big loyalty play gets some bargaining power with the jury, plus he just bought Fish's vote for the rest of the game. Sure, it's easy to say it was a waste after Fish got outplayed at the next tribal (what a forking dufus splitting his own votes), but at the time it (giving the idol) was a good move IMO.
I think Jeremy is 1a with Tasha being 1b (to win).
Although I agree it was a bad play, I don't think the grudge factor will be as bad this season with the returning players. Everyone is playing pretty well and I don't think anyone is feeling comfortable with their alliance. When the blindsides come, I think most players this season will accept it as good game play. That, IMO, is a bad view.. I do believe if it worked out and Fish stayed longer, in the end, he'd lose because of stabbing his alliance in the back.![]()
He used the idol to take out someone everyone wanted gone, just not at that time. Its not exactly stabbing his alliance in the back.snogger said:That, IMO, is a bad view.. Don't forget that Jeremy and Fish had just alienated their original alliance members the vote before aligning with the 3 girls and getting rid of Wigglesworth. They didn't tell Tasha, which is why Fish said he took her on reward. They didn't tell Keith and Joe (would have), so they voted for Fish last night because they were also alienated. Saving Fish and getting rid of Ciera was stabbing their new voting block in the back right after they aligned with them to vote Wigglesworth off. Abi and Wentworth voted for Fish. Now Tasha and Kimmi are probably pissed that they decided to go with Fish and Jeremy because they are on the block now. The entire group of people that voted for Fish did so because of what Jeremy and Fish did the previous 2 votes. He used the idol to take out someone everyone wanted gone, just not at that time. Are you watching the same season I am, where the jury members are flipping off the players that knocked them out at every tribal?Nick Vermeil said:Although I agree it was a bad play, I don't think the grudge factor will be as bad this season with the returning players.

Yes she is the odd one out. Savage flipped off Abi on his exit but she isn't getting any votes. I'll eat my hat if she isn't in the finals though.that's just dumb ### kassAre you watching the same season I am, where the jury members are flipping off the players that knocked them out at every tribal?Nick Vermeil said:Although I agree it was a bad play, I don't think the grudge factor will be as bad this season with the returning players.
I skipped most of tribal, but Spencer already knew about Fish using his advantage. Fish told Jeremy and Spencer that he was going to use. I think Spencer probably already knew the vote counts and that he was good to go. The only real worry was Abi. Spencer was told who to vote for (I think Abi), so he probably also knew who Fish was voting for and knew that only Abi was the problem.Tasha blew it at tribal, imo, with her statement that it's time to ditch the voting block strategy and stick to that 3 or 4 person alliance. She basically told everyone that her, Jeremy, Fish, Kimmie, and Spencer (who she thought she had) were going to start voting everyone else out. I believe that caused Spencer to not bail on his plan to get rid of Fish, since he knew he was lower on the totem pole than Fish, Jeremy and Tasha. So he took the chance to split those 3 up. If she kept her mouth shut, he might have scrapped it and voted for Joe with that group (after he heard Fish was going to use his advantage).
That's what I said.. Spencer knew Fish's advantage and after hearing about it, from Fish, he had second thoughts on his plan to blindside Fish. Then he heard Tasha at tribal talking about just sticking with her trusted alliance and he may have realized it was best to take the risk and stick with his original plan to blindside Fish. I think if she keeps her mouth shut, Spencer would have voted for Abi (I said Joe earlier, but meant Abi.. knowing it would be Joe going home if he didn't have an II, per Fish's plan).I skipped most of tribal, but Spencer already knew about Fish using his advantage.
