yep. Fish just telling Spencer that was the problem...that and fish splitting his votes.

Fish is responsible for getting Fish out. Shut ya mouth and play.

Did he even have some master strategy? I thought it was constantly him talking to the camera about getting Joe about and waiting for the right time to use his master advantage.

He seemed to be in tight with his alliance, but he wasn't smart enough to look beyond it after he almost got voted out once, and then split his own two votes instead of knocking out somebody who wasn't in his alliance. He wasn't even good at keeping his own alliance, each week is a new voting block.

Tasha blew it at tribal, imo, with her statement that it's time to ditch the voting block strategy and stick to that 3 or 4 person alliance. She basically told everyone that her, Jeremy, Fish, Kimmie, and Spencer (who she thought she had) were going to start voting everyone else out. I believe that caused Spencer to not bail on his plan to get rid of Fish, since he knew he was lower on the totem pole than Fish, Jeremy and Tasha. So he took the chance to split those 3 up. If she kept her mouth shut, he might have scrapped it and voted for Joe with that group (after he heard Fish was going to use his advantage).
I skipped most of tribal, but Spencer already knew about Fish using his advantage. Fish told Jeremy and Spencer that he was going to use. I think Spencer probably already knew the vote counts and that he was good to go. The only real worry was Abi. Spencer was told who to vote for (I think Abi), so he probably also knew who Fish was voting for and knew that only Abi was the problem.
That's what I said.. Spencer knew Fish's advantage and after hearing about it, from Fish, he had second thoughts on his plan to blindside Fish. Then he heard Tasha at tribal talking about just sticking with her trusted alliance and he may have realized it was best to take the risk and stick with his original plan to blindside Fish. I think if she keeps her mouth shut, Spencer would have voted for Abi (I said Joe earlier, but meant Abi.. knowing it would be Joe going home if he didn't have an II, per Fish's plan).
Gotcha, I didn't see Tasha's speech, but I wonder if it would have mattered. I would think that Spencer knew the numbers and already knew he wasn't at the top of the alliance (could be next after Joe since he won immunity and finished 2nd in the previous reward to Fish).

He didn't. He kept talking about voting blocks and making moves to make moves. That was how he got caught up with the 3 girls, which is really what sunk him. He just figured each week he could organize blocks and I think he underestimated the strains he put on the original alliance by excluding people (Tasha and Keith in the vote with the girls, Jeremy not telling people about saving Fish, etc.). Fish was so hung up on Joe because of his original season results and was so hung up on being thought of as a master mind, like his exit interview and tribal where he was so proud of himself for being the first to ever take away someone's vote. I think he and Jeremy had the game in hand until they decided to vote with the girls and fracture their alliance and assume they could easily mend fences with their voting block talk.

:goodposting:

Agree totally. The fact that Fish shared with Spencer that he was using his advantage showed that he didn't understand this game as much as he thought he did.

I was hoping when Jeff read Fish's vote for Joe that he would toss it out since basically it was Joe voting for Joe, which is not allowed. Obviously Fish did not have to say which vote was his vote and which vote was Joe's, but would have made for a good reaction from him.

Can't believe fish split his votes. Idiotic.
Seriously, WTMF?
I agree it made no sense.

However, it would not have made any difference in this specific vote using hind-site.

The final votes tonight were:

Joe 2

Abi 3

Fish 4

Had he voted twice for Joe, all that changes is that Abi gets 2 and Joe gets 3 but Fish is still out with 4.
And had he voted twice for Abi?
fire building or choosing rocks I assume. I don't know what the tie breaking rules are this season, do you?

All though at least according to the edit he was never going to vote twice for Abi in any case since he really wanted Joe out and just tried to be too clever in flushing out an idol.
Fire building between Fishback and Abi would have been a sight to see. That could have gone on for hours.
I assume at some point, after multiple cheap shots at the two of them, Jeff would be forced to give them both lighters.

The option to get a rebuilt shelter is stupid. Let the players quit of they can't handle the weather. Otherwise change the name of the show to BLOUSES.

I actually liked it, not so they would get a new shelter but because it really showed some fractures, i.e. Keith was the only one going against Joe (another reason Keith was so ready to vote for Fish) and because of the II. I still can't believe no one even looked at the shelter. Duh, what an easy way to get a the II back into the game. The people on this season haven't impressed me at all. I hope Spencer, Joe or Keith win it. Spencer because he's done a great job at staying alive and now being sort of at the top of the alliance, Joe because he does so well at challenges and Keith because I like him. Tasha hasn't done much of anything except be invisible. Kelly would be OK as well because she's the only eye candy left (how people like Abi is beyond me) and has at least done something.

Abi has a great body, but she's a halfwit. Good for TV but I would never want to be in the same room with her.

I think people are making too much out of the Jeremy idol thing. It's easy to say in hindsight that he just threw away an idol, but I liked the play. Openly make a big loyalty play gets some bargaining power with the jury, plus he just bought Fish's vote for the rest of the game. Sure, it's easy to say it was a waste after Fish got outplayed at the next tribal (what a forking dufus splitting his own votes), but at the time it (giving the idol) was a good move IMO.

I think Jeremy is 1a with Tasha being 1b (to win).
That, IMO, is a bad view.. By playing the idol he basically alienated over half of the people that will be on the jury.. As much as you might believe it is "good game play" Jury's have shown over and over again to hold grudges..I do believe if it worked out and Fish stayed longer, in the end, he'd lose because of stabbing his alliance in the back.
He used the idol to take out someone everyone wanted gone, just not at that time. Its not exactly stabbing his alliance in the back.
Don't forget that Jeremy and Fish had just alienated their original alliance members the vote before aligning with the 3 girls and getting rid of Wigglesworth. They didn't tell Tasha, which is why Fish said he took her on reward. They didn't tell Keith and Joe (would have), so they voted for Fish last night because they were also alienated. Saving Fish and getting rid of Ciera was stabbing their new voting block in the back right after they aligned with them to vote Wigglesworth off. Abi and Wentworth voted for Fish. Now Tasha and Kimmi are probably pissed that they decided to go with Fish and Jeremy because they are on the block now. The entire group of people that voted for Fish did so because of what Jeremy and Fish did the previous 2 votes.
If Jeremy gets to the end, he has Fish's vote. Everyone knows that. He's also pretty likeable for the other voters. No one should want to be sitting next to Jeremy at the end. I expect him to get targeted soon. Maybe even tonight. I hope he plays his idol correctly, and perhaps wins immunity to stay in. I'd like to see him win.

I'm sure there is tons of idol searching that we just don't see. I like the way they kind of changed up where the idols were hidden(at challenges), I hope they continue that in future seasons..

He's definitely the next target IMO. I would hope (sometimes it amazes me) someone realizes he likely has another idol because there is no way he would save Fish with his only idol. If they do then I could see the block getting Tasha to vote with them and split between Jeremy and Kimmi. Jeremy hasn't really been great at challenges, I think he finished second one time, so he'll be a target soon.

That's one more negative in game play from Jeremy. Why didn't he persuade Fish to not split the vote for Joe? He had to know Joe didn't have an idol because he just had both so Joe would have had to find it that period. They've split and not split the votes pretty poorly so far (seems like every week since Kass has been wrong).

You mean like Wentworth did? Joe had just as much of a chance to have one as anyone else.

Seems like Im in the minority, but I dont think Jeremy is a very good player. He rarely wins comps and doesnt seem like any type of mastermind. Has he made moves that Im forgetting about? He has a great build, but hardly what I would call a physical threat. Old man Keith outlasts him in physical challenges all the time.

The option to get a rebuilt shelter is stupid. Let the players quit of they can't handle the weather. Otherwise change the name of the show to BLOUSES.
I hated the way they kept saying that anyone who went with the decision to vote for the shelter was giving up immunity and if they got voted out, they would second guess their decision.

Some of these people had NO chance going against Joe (i.e. Kimmi, Ciera). If they decided to not forgo the challenge, they were not going to win immunity anyway. I thought the whole idea was dumb, you knew there would be some of them who chose to have the shelter built cause they knew they had no shot at immunity. Maybe if it had been a different kind of challenge.

Wondering if we are going to get a challenge soon where the alliances are flushed out and you can see who is next on the chopping block, like the answers to trivia and then chopping one of the players 3 ropes, or shuffleboard etc.

Ive always hated those. Someone like Joe has no chance to win.

Back to the vote...the only way you vote for the shelter is if you think you cant win the challange, or you really think you are secure with the next vote.

I agree he had a chance, but Fish didn't know that Jeremy had two idols meaning that Joe couldn't have been sitting on it, he would have had to find it that 3 days. I am pretty sure Fish was watching Joe every time he peed based on his obsession with him. I didn't mean that Joe had 0 chance to find it, but that Jeremy didn't even mention (just to Fish) that Joe would have had to find it that period. Again I think that they would have been "watching" him a bit more than Wentworth. If they don't split the votes, Joe goes home 5-4. Either Jeremy had no idea that Fish and he had alienated their alliance or he didn't want people to know he had another idol. Either way, seems like that bit of info not being shared cost both of them. Maybe they still split or maybe Fish says he's been keeping an eye on Joe so he must not have it.

That is the worst immunity challenge. Maybe for a reward but that should never be an immunity challenge.

Agreed. Worst Immunity challenge ever, might as well not even offer immunity that week.

You aren't. I think he and Fish have gotten a ton of screen time, but outside of finding the idols and beating Spencer by a hair, they really have played very poorly. They remind me of Kass on her season where she thought she was the bomb (and this season) even though watching her play you realized she screwed so much up. Making moves to make moves isn't going to win you the game. They are so focused on building their final tribal resume and not realizing the big mistakes they are making to not even get close to final tribal. Jeremy and Fish had the game in hand if they slow played it a bit. Keith, Kimmi, Wiggles, Joe, Savage and Tasha really haven't showcased that they are going to blow up the alliance early. Only Spencer has shown some moxie of late, but he was a good lackie a few votes ago because he was just happy to be there. Add in having 2 idols and being able to do a two vote swap and it is amazing that they blew that all up so quickly.

this is only a hunch, but I think Jeremy is slowplaying some of the physical stuff to not look like a threat. sometimes when you watch him it doesn't seem like he can't do it, just that he's not trying too hard as long as Joe is around as a bigger physical threat.

but socially & strategically, other than finding the 2 idols and making the questionable move to give Fish the idol, seems like he's just coasting.

He has repeatedly derailed the plans of others in his alliance in order to shelter himself. He's not out there with his strategy like Fish or Ceira or Spencer, but he's active and until last week he has remained below the radar. Now he's toast.

Scary there.. probably a combination of heat stroke and dehydration .. surprised more don't drop like that..

What happened? News broke in about CA shooting
low sugar levels caused Joe to black out and lose out on immunity .. and he thus got sent on the walk :bye: Now Spencer & Jeremy need to hope Tasha was truthful on not sticking with an all girl group.

BTW.. Keith is either completely out of the loop (he voted for Tasha) or is sneaky smart..

Sucks the way it went down.

I'm not sure I've seen a worse human being than Abi. If she got hit by a bus, it wouldn't bother me a bit.

I think lost in Joe fainting is the performance by Keith. He's been pretty damn good in these challenges; he just had a challenge monster to beat.

I really think Spencer and Jeremy made the wrong choice. Sure, Joe is great at challenges, but he's been beaten twice and they've all pretty much been endurance/balancing ones. And outside of winning challenges, what's he done? He's not shown any strategy at all. He hasn't made any significant moves. Meanwhile, Abi gets more and more appealing to keep the farther you get. Plus, she's completely unreliable. So now you're looking at her vote getting more and more valuable with fewer and fewer players. Of course, I've always thought Abi should have been a target for pretty much everyone all show long.

Hanging around. Hanging around. That is what the girls minus Tasha are doing.

Abi was the vote tonight. Abi or Kimmi at least. You go to the final three with Joe and lose, you played a good game. You take Abi to the final three and come in second, jokes on you cause you couldn't beat one other person.

Either Jeremy plays an idol to save himself or a guy or else the guys are toast. Went worth and Abi keep hanging around. That will bite some hopefuls soon.

Joe, he wins challenges but isn't unbeatable. Abi, wins nothing and is a terrible person. Can't believe some cheered when they saw Joe go down either. That challenge went from 30 minutes to 80 minutes. That is balls deep to do that for 80 minutes. Keith is badass.

Yeah it was apparent immediately something was wrong when he dropped like that, so the victory squeal was way out of line. If the idol dropped first and that was all they were looking at you might understand it, but he pretty much sunk then it fell. I'm actually ok if anyone other than Abi wins (even Kimmi). I thought it was funny that everyone just said at tribal "There's no chance you can win".

I don't think Abi is very attractive, but compared to her mother she came out smelling like a rose.

I don't know the last time I've found so many of the jury-eligible female contestants so annoying. The only one I can really stand is Tasha. The eye rolling and stupid faces the others do seemingly every time someone else is talking has gotten really old.

Yes, Tasha seems like a good person and someone who is decent. The others appear to be catty to the 10th degree. Wentworth has grown tiring. Nice to look at but the Survivor diet has done wonders on her. Look at her before pictures and it's not the same girl at all.

She looked great on day 1, she's like a skeleton now.

Or Tasha sticks to what she told Jeremy and Spencer that she wanted Joe out but was NOT going to stay in the all girl alliance..

Would love a good blindside next week against Wentworth.. she is starting to hit that :bowtie: moment right now as she winks and mouth's things over to the jury..

Was hoping Joe would steal Wentworth's idol last night. I think Jeremy and Spencer will regret not voting out one of the girls.

Hopefully next week Spencer wins immunity and they try to vote off Jeremy and he uses his idol and Abi or Wentworth get booted. I'm sure Jeremy wishes he hadn't wasted his idol on Fish now.

I'm sick of Wentworth and her smug mug at TC. Hope she gets blindsided and reacts by going off on everyone showing her true colors.

A few weeks ago during one of her interviews she looked like Riff Raff on Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The guys need to even out the field next week. Tasha will stay with the girls, or she should anyway. She could easily beat all those women in challenges, except a long endurance challenge where you balance on something. I think Wentworth would dominate that sort of challenge, being that she weighs about 60 lbs.

Keith is a badass at some of these challenges. I hope Keith or Spencer win this. I lost if for Jeremy when he wasted one of his idols.

Jeremy's not smart. I'm sure he'll blow his next move as well. He's completely ####ed himself at this point, betraying Tasha's trust and wasting an idol.

Say what you will about Wentworth, kind of a dope and so's her pops, but she could win this and if she does it's well earned

I agree that if Wentworh gets to the final 3, she has made a terrific case to win. She's played the game great both socially and in challenges. I'd just rather see Kimmie or Tasha win before her.

Jeff: "Kelley, go ahead and pick three others to join you for reward."

Kelley: "Ok Jeff…give me the old white guy that reminds me of my Grandpa and the two white women."

Jeff: "Now choose one more."

Kelley: "Hmmm…ok…let's bring over the best looking white guy out here."

I was wondering if Jeff would keep going until only Jeremy was standing there alone. Personally, I would have had a hard time not picking him for that reward because that dude really, really, really loves his wife!
