Its hard to score because while i think Bivol is winning... there is no way in hell i see him winning a decision over canelo regardless of how dominant we thought he was.

without a knockout Bivol should win.  It would be a travesty if Canelo won or even got a draw but ive seen crazier stuff happen.

I don't see Canelo having much success in a rematch, barring unusual clauses like a 169 max weight.  If I were advising him, I would tell him to keep the GGG date and then maybe revisit Bivol in 2023.  The trilogy fight is still plenty big even after this loss

I think it’s a combo of fighting a bigger person who could withstand his power.  Also his kryptonite is a strong boxer and someone who uses the job and counters and Bivol has a strong Amateur background and is a slick puncher who has reach and size and knows how to use it.  It’s like a bigger Lara.  Plus Bivol is disciplined as ####. I don’t see canelo beating him.

the other big factor is no hydration clause and no catch weight which usually canelo has.  Likely he loses to kovalev if he’s not drained.

i think he will rematch and maybe he can come back bigger and stronger but I’d prefer he go down and handle business there.  Plenty of options.  I suspect he will rematch first because it’s very hard to go down and up again.
