Anyone looking forward to this stacked Riyadh card on Saturday?

Ortiz 👀 Madrimov
Hopefully Shakur can show out because he has about lost me as a fan.

Nice afternoon card for the fellas

Very looking forward to it even with two fighters pulling out due to illness. Best part is the PPV is less than $30 ! I expect the main fight to be similar to the first one but with Bivol being more active and winning a close decision. The Ortiz/Madrimov fight should be the best action fight on the card.

Prelims starting in 5 minutes.

Super excited for this card. Hope to catch most of it but I have a busy Saturday. Enjoy the fights

Madrimov v Ortiz was fantastic. Im at my daughter's soccer game but what I caught was top notch.

Zheing is far and away my favorite heavyweight to watch. ❤️

Smith/Buatsi...back and forth fight but Smith did more and rightfully got the W.

Zhang/Kabayel...Kabayel won every round in this and Zhang looks to be done.

Ortiz/Madrimov...started slow but Ortiz won nearly all rounds in the last half of the fight and got the decision but good fight as expected.

Adames/Sherraz...Adames was simply more active and Sherraz can't win playing defense the entire fight but fight ends in a draw, not outraged by any means.

Shakur/Padley...Shakur with 9th round TKO but Shakur looks to have hurt his left hand. Padley takes the fight on four days notice and was game. Never been a Shakur fan but would like to see him fight Tank sometime soon.

Parker/Bakole...Parker with 2nd round KO. Bakole was a live dog but not a ton of chance with only 3 days notice. Main event up next...

Beterbiev 5-4 from 9 for me. Bivol has really boxed well last 2-3 rounds. Beterbiev needs something soon

Bleh. I thought Bivol won the first one so it is what it is.

Thought he fought off his back foot so well the last half of the fight. Just unreal stuff from him

Bivol/Beterbiev...Bivol wins first two rounds, Beterbiev wins next 4 rounds, Bivol wins next five and Beterbiev wins the 12...and judges give it to Bivol by majority decision. (y)

Hated to miss this card but it's the wife's birthday. Sounds like it lived up to the hype, Dubois pulling out notwithstanding

Majority draw Tank v Roach.

Feel bad for Keyshawn Davis and myself because that's what I wanted in July

Tszyu-Spencer about to start om Prime
Didn't seem like Spencer wanted to be there.

One Fight night 30 was yesterday. Muay Thai heavyweight title fight for the main event.

For several months I've been enjoying One championships more than any other combat sports. I haven't seen it yet and like catching them after they've aired because they're 4 hours but skipping the promos, ads and chat between fights makes them go faster.

Lots of big name guys this weekend but unfortunately none are fighting each other.

Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, Teofimo on Friday in Times Square. Garcia and Haney should win easily, setting up a presumed Fall re-match. Teo is fighting Barboza, in what should be a close fight. A motivated Teo should do enough to win but who knows what version of Teo we get from fight to fight.

Canelo is fighting an unknown guy named William Scull in Saudi Arabia on Saturday. No know cares about this fight but Canelo's next fight versus Crawford in September is a different story.

Inoue fights in Las Vegas on Sunday and is a heavy favourite as expected.

Ok I really want to start wathching more fights. How do I do it? After Showtime and HBO and regular ESPN got away from it, I started to fade. I miss boxing a lot but I don't know what to do without spending even more money on more dumb streaming services.

DAZN seems to have the majority of stuff now but it's not free unless you go the illegal steaming route but that is another conversation.
Am I correct in saying you have to pay for DAZN and then when they have big fights you still have to get the PPV through them?

Times Square card was dreadful. Haney fight was one of the worst of the year. Garcia lost in a major upset, putting the rematch with Haney in major doubt. Teo won easily. Overall, just yuck.

I guess I'll watch Canelo beat up Scull.

Super excited for Inuoe tomorrow night. Glad I don't have to wake up at 6am to watch him

Canelo fight and card was a dud. Best part was the post-Canelo fight stare down between Canelo and Crawford.
I fell asleep after the 2nd round. I used to be able to stay up all night for fights now I need to nap before PPVs.

And I get on dudes who tire in the ring. Classic

July fights on deck...

Taylor/Serrano III on July 11 on Netflix. Both of the first two fights were good, close fights, no reason to think this fight will be any different.

Usyk/Dubois II on July 19. Somewhat controversial fight fight but one thinks Usyk wins this again. A potential third fight with Usyk/Fury is being rumored for 2026.

Pacquiao returns on July 19. The undercard rematch between Fundora and Tszyu is the one to watch as the first fight was a literal blood bath.

Rodriguez is a heavy fav versus Cafu on July 19.

Shaker Stevenson fights on July 12 but he is no longer a must watch.

Berlanga versus Sheeraz should be a close fight on July 12 with the winner likely getting a shot at Canelo.

Jake Paul now ranked the #14 cruiserweight by the WBA

The World Boxing Association (WBA) has ranked Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) at No. 14 following his win Saturday over former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The social media influencer-turned-professional boxer is now eligible to challenge WBA cruiserweight champion Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez for a world championship.

Paul is ranked one spot ahead of American Craig Parker (20-0, 20 KOs), who most recently fought at heavyweight on April 1 and won via knockout. He is behind Italian Giovanni Cristian Scuderi (12-0, 5 KOs), who hasn't fought at cruiserweight since September 2022 and has spent his past four fights competing at heavyweight.

Craig Parker (20-0, 20 KOs) is not happy about the new rankings

TMZ spoke with the now-No. 15-ranked boxer about the development ... and he said, quite frankly, it's "disgusting news to me" because in his opinion, he hasn't paid his dues.

"For him just to take a position that guys like me that struggled to find ways to the gym and ... it's a long road to be where we're at. And for him to just be No. 14, it was just like a slap in the face."

Parker thinks there's an easy way to settle the matter -- he wants to fight Jake Paul to see if he really earned his position.

Due to heavy criticism and outrage from other ranked contenders, the WBA will review Jake Paul's cruiserweight ranking at their upcoming European convention in Madrid - which takes place from July 15-18.

The WBA ranked Paul at No. 14 in its cruiserweight rankings after his lackluster win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. last Saturday. Chavez Jr. wasn’t ranked at cruiserweight and his last notable win came in 2012 at middleweight. Paul has never defeated a ranked boxer, unless you count his “fight” with the 58-year-old Mike Tyson.

Could be the best thing that's happened to Parker. This is a good chance to get attention to his name and game.

Usyk with an absolute masterpiece this afternoon. Anyone else catch it?

Extremely excited to watch Bam fight later. Have the Pacquiao card on but outside of Tszyu Fundora I'm not exactly expecting much.

UFC card going as well.

Let's have a night, fellas

This Saturday on Netflix, the fight of the year between Crawford and Canelo.

Canelo hasn't looked good/great since the first two GGG fights or maybe his fight with Kovalev. Although some of this is likely due his less than impressive list of opposition in recent fights.

Crawford didn't look world beating in his lone middleweight foray versus Madrimov in 2024 (after smashing Spence the year before). Now Crawford is moving up multiple weight classes to fight Canelo.

Canelo is (rightfully) the betting favorite simply based on the weight class alone.

A lot of variables in this fight, mostly having to do with Crawford since he has never fought at this weight, let alone fight the champion at this weight.

For me this is a toss-up. Would like to see Crawford outwork Canelo and get the decision but the weight difference is a thing plus I think Canelo gets any close decision.

I am pulling for Craword and kind of think he pulls it off. He's been proving everyone wrong every step of the way. He is 37 and I feel like at that age it makes the move up even more challenging.

I hope you're right on it being a tossup. I'm heavy on Bud at +155

I just saw that Crawford might be hurt

Oh no? Like cancel the fight hurt?

no, just aggravated shoulder. the same one he had surgery on previously. probably all bs

Earning a decision and getting a decision vs Canelo are two different things (ask GGG) and I can't see Bud being the first to drop Canelo, much less stop him. Mad respect for Crawford and I expect this to be very competitive but I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid

Canelo has shown to have a Chuvalo like chin so the idea that Crawford is going to knock him down or out, while possible, I have my doubts.

Crawford will likely be the more active of the two as Canelo has slowed in recent years so there is that.
