Spence looked very good and knocked Algeri down twice. Algeri had no counter to what Spence was doing.  Algeri is tough but was it was obvious that his only chance was to hope that Spence would tire and and maybe he could connect with a punch.  I see why there is a lot of hype with Spence, he's the real deal.

i love the way he sets down on his punches...and has equal power in both hands ...wonder what kind of beard he has
Definitely maximizing that power from the hips.

I think it's interesting how he's so willing to get dirty.  Fights from the clinch very well.

This kid has a great will to go with his skill.

I agree...wonder how well he can take a few good web-cleaners to the chin.

like Mike Tyson did this kid throws every punch with bad intentions...and goes from the head to the body and back again  with fluid combinations...well schooled

Jim Lampley just called chocollatito the pound for pound best fart ...no really ...then he quickly corrected himself and said fighter ...i had to rewind it to make sure ...too funny  :lmao:

watching these fights this morning.  Great fight with Chocolitito and Arroyo.  Arroyo was impressive yet still was dominated.  And yea, Wade came for the paycheck.  You could see in his eyes he wanted no parts of GGG.

I feel like GGG is going to have to go down or go up to get his fight.  Noone wants to fight him.  And at his age everyone is fine making him wait.

what if amir khan beat canelo, then fought ggg......  would he survive?

ETA: nevermind.  He probably wont survive the Canelo fight.

Frampton/Leo Santa Cruz just got made for this summer. That should be pretty good.

An intriguing fight/test for GGG would be Lara, who apparently wants Golovkin and is willing to move up to 160. If Canelo fought someone like Saunders and GGG fought Lara, with both eyeing a Cinco De Mayo '17 fight, I could live with something like that.

Also, GGG at 168, is that even a realistic consideration?
Doubtful I think. His strategy, which seems like a sound one, is to just lay waste to 160 and try to get the big fight against Canelo. Obviously there's no Canelo-type challenge at 168.

De La Hoya seems to be doing everything he can to put off a Golovkin fight. I think getting stripped, the fight actually being made, and the fight getting made but for a later date are all possibilities. To be fair I think Canelo would fight GGG if it were left to his own devices, it's De La Hoya that doesn't want any part of Golovkin.

So if anyone watched Alvarez/Khan 24-7, the park where Khan's doing the workouts in the sand is where my grandma used to take us when we were kids (and fairly close to where I live now). For whatever that's worth.

I believe GGG has the smallest gloves I've ever seen.

I've seen puncher's gloves before but his are beyond anything I've ever seen before.

They look like someone simply shrink-wrapped some colorful plastic over his tape job.
