Enjoyed the Heavyweight fight.

Garcia may win this fight but I hate when a technical fighter just won’t let their hands go. Porter is trying but Garcia is playing the game and it cost Garcia against Thurman.

I had 116-112 Porter.  Glad the judges were fair to him.  Great style clash tho- worthy of top 5 FOTY status.
i was surprised by 116-112.  Its funny usually the judges wont favor the guy fighting as aggressive as porter.  Im glad they did. Id like to see a rematch if(when) porter spence doesnt get made.  I dont think Porter really wants that.

I'll take a rematch if Spence goes for Mikey instead.  But I am very intrigued by Spence-Porter.  Talent-wise, Spence is in the conversation for #1 P4P and rightly so, but Porter is so unconventional and so frenetic that it would be a fascinating matchup for the relatively inexperienced Spence.

I think Thurman has the option to challenge for the WBC, given that he's champion in recess or some ####.

I had it 116-112 Porter as well. Couldve easily been 115-113 but imo no doubt Porter won that fight. I wouldnt call it a great fight, but that was entertaining start to finish with no slow rounds.

Id def take Porter vs Spence. Give Spence an interesting test instead of some of the other contenders he will crush.

When will Spence vs Crawford happen though?! Thats like a great trilogy in the making that may never happen.

agreed.  His footwork and movement in and out and taking angles was impressive.  So many options in welterweight.  Should be a fun upcoming year if the promoters dont #### it up

yea  this is what i worry about with this division.  crawford is going to be fighting bums for a while.  I dont see crawford/spence going down until 2020 sadly.  meanwhile it seems spence is willing to make some pretty good fights.

Spence-Crawford should be the endgame and ranks as the match I want to see the most, more than Wilder-Joshua.  That said, it's not seen as being as marketable as it ought to be yet.  While as a fan I just want to see the fight, I recognize the quickest path to it is for those two to gather all the belts and be in a position to fully unify.  If that means we get Spence-Porter, winner vs Thurman, winner of that vs Crawford, I'll take it as those are all quality fights.

GGGolovkin  vrs Alvarez this Saturday.  Who you like & how do you think fight turns out?

GGG has called out Alvarez as a runner in the 1st fight.  Alvarez  did a go backwards a lot.   Alvarez : faster hands, younger, punching power about equal.

I'm rooting for GGG.  I just like a fighter that moves forward & Alvarez did duck GGG for some years waiting for GGG to get older IMO.  The 1st fight did not live up to the billing.  Very few solid exchanges.  Hope this one is better

No clue. I can't help but root for GGG, but time comes for everyone, eventually.

I know its early but PMs to websites tonight would be appreciated. Ive been out of that game for awhile. Does firstrowsports still work??

I don’t have links but check reddit you should find some.

btw only one more fight before the main event.  I expect they will waste time and start it at 11pm on the dot.

Mungia vs some guy i don’t know.  Mungia is supposed to be the next big thing.  Should be a good fight.  Might be quick being he has a huge weight advantage.

3 undercard fights lasted a total of 9 rounds.  No complaints on that front, tho only the Chocolatito fight had moments of intrigue.

For the main; in the first fight I picked GGG by decision and that should have been the result.  Tonight... I am picking GGG in 6.

Roman looks like he is past it to me. Nice KO, but he was in with a stiff.
