Charlo really showed me something tonight.  Great performance in a possible FOTY.  Nice to have another division with a true lineal champion as well.

same. He really showed me something i haven’t seen from him.  He looked outstanding.  Imagine bud wins against spence and goes up to fight him next?  That would be a fascinating fight.

castano is a tough sob as well.

If I was a welter, I would stay far away from Charlo.  Besides, there should be plenty of $$$ to be made at 147 as it is

I think if they don’t retire it’s either go up or fight boots.  Both are risky propositions.
True, but if Bud goes to 154, that will be his 4th weight class.  He was somewhat big at 135 but would be dwarfed by Charlo.  I would sooner take my chances against the new school at 147 if I were him (Boots/Benn/Ortiz).  Spence may be a little better equipped to go up but again, Charlo is a monster in his prime at 154.

Honestly, best case scenario for both Spence and Bud is that the 1st fight is so good that they get an immediate rematch out of it.  Winner of THAT could defend vs Benn in a big money London fight come fall 2023.

WOW...BANG...one punch and DAVIS stays undefeated

The whole ko was eerily reminiscent of   Manny Pacquiao getting ko`d in the 5th by  Juan Manuel Marquez

Was in the building.  Good fight.  Rolly was doing well but needed to keep his distance.  Instead tank made him feel comfortable and lured him in.  Bang.  Curious to see the cards.

there was also a shooting there tonight was pretty crazy.

Really good fight tomorrow - Kambosos vs Haney for the Undisputed Lightweight Title.  Both undefeated and on ESPN live from Australia

huge fight.  It’s a pickem to me but I’m leaning Haney.
I'm leaning Kambosos.  Consider it a home-field advantage but also he showed me more heart in the Lopez fight than Haney ever has (not that he's ever been in a position to do so - he's undefeated with no close calls).   I certainly am not going to bet on this one either way

Kambosos has missed weight and has 2 hours to get down to weight or he loses those belts......
He ultimately made it.  Adding to the drama.

And even more drama, Haney's father/trainer has now been allowed to go to Australia.   He's racing there right now and hopes to be in the corner

They got it right 116-112 twice and 118-110.  Decent, not great, fight
I thought it was a very good fight.  We knew Haney would try to make it boring.  And Kambosos would try to land one shot.  Watching that chess match for me was awesome but i get how in general it makes the fight boring.  Still im thoroughly impressed by what haney did and he looked great.

Love that we are seeing big fights over the last year.  whats that two undisputed fights in the past month?   Another one coming in the biggest division in the sport?  Cant wait!

I enjoyed the first half of the fight but didn't like that Kambosos didn't adapt much once he saw what Haney was bringing.   I did have him winning some middle rounds by a very close margin but it never felt like he was trying to figure Haney out

Usyk/Joshua this Saturday from Saudi Arabia.

Will take Usyk in the rematch. Joshua has never impressed me much and unless Joshua totally surprises me (will new trainer help ?) and/or Usyk lays an egg, I can't see this going too much different than the first fight.

I agree. Usyk will be improved from the first fight, as he is possibly the most disciplined fighter in the world. Joshua may be more aggressive, which would lead to a more entertaining fight, but I don't expect it to change the outcome

Thought it was a good fight. AJ needed to fight more of a big mans fight. He kept calling back and trying to box him. Either way i dont think he would have won. Curious to see if Fury fights Usyk.

Ruiz Jr vs Ortiz is a really good fight so far
I never understand why orthodox fighters , when fighting southpaws , dont move to the left way more often while throwing straight rights . Ruiz could have ended this fight in the 2nd rd if he would do that.

agree.
Also how about Cruz. looked like a pit bull in there. Id like to see the Tank rematch though i know Tank wont give it.

I missed this one, looks like I missed a fun one. Last night though, Estrada vs Cortez was a high-quality fight. You can still catch the replay on DAZN

Today's the biggest fight of the year, Canelo-GGG! Should be fun!
Yea. wish we got it years ago but hey ill watch it. GGG hasnt aged well but im hoping he brings it one last time. But im not sure he has the stamina at 40 to do it. He looked pretty gassed in his last few fights.

Still excited. There are a few more solid fights this year. Fury Joshua, and SPence Crawford(IMO would be the biggest fight this year) if it happens. fingers crossed.

will watch. their first fight was held about 2 years after GGG's prime by design from the Canelo camp. they waited for age to catch GGG & it worked. I like Canelo as a fighter but disgusted he ducked GGG for basically 3 years. wise move for sure though, just not the best for the fans.
I agree with you in that I don't thing GGG has the stamina anymore at 40. he does have heart though.
I luv boxing!

I'll concede that I would consider Spence-Crawford bigger, but 1) Tonight's fight will have more eyeballs on it, and 2) we're more likely to get fireworks tonight

yea im going Canelo UD. GGG has looked gassed in recent fights. I suspect he fades and just fights to get to the cards. But i would love to see him win.
