Trying to get a ticket to the Twins/Yanks in NY on the 22nd, and the only thing availabe are the $325 seats. What gives? Like this for every game this year? All years? What a suck.
Check out stubhub
http://www.stubhub.com/new-york-yankees-ti...22-2008-511051/
Can usually get decent tix at not awful prices for regular games there
i.e. the sec 604 tix for $70/each are very good seats, excellent panoramic view of the stadium
Thanks, will check it out. How hard is it to get to the stadium and back from Paramus, NJ?
Via driving or via public transportation? Also, if you are going to buy from stubhub, check the net for discount codes
There are usually some floating around for 10% off or so, which essentially negates the StubHub "fee"
I could do either, if there is public transport that will get me from there to the stadium and back. I hear taking a taxi back is a tough proposition.
If possible, driving would likely be best for youParamus is only like 10 miles away from Yankee Stadium, due North West
I am not sure, but I think almost all of the public transportation options would take you south into midtown Manhattan (penn or Port Authority) and then you'd have to go north to Yankee Stadium on the subway
Car will be MUCH faster
I've checked out public transportation, and it looks like you're right. Not only would it take me forever, but my two late options back from the Seacaucus Terminal to Paramus are 10:30pm or 12:53 am - no good either way. How is traffic coming out of there after a game? I'm imagining pretty brutal, but a cab would be worse and much more expensive.
It really depends on where you parkYou generally don't want to get stuck in the multi-level parking lots, as you get stuck there forever after the game
My dad refuses to take public transportation to the games when we go
We park at a lot directly across from the big bat
Outdoor lot, we tell them we're leaving early, they give us a spot close to the exit
Then we pretty much pull out and on to the highway on ramp
Lot's approx address on google street view is 6 E 153rd Street
