I can't get over how bad my walk rates are. Just horrid.

The engine adjustments seems to overrate walks wildly ... even more than it used to. Barry Bonds may be hitting .147, but he's still getting on base at a .532 clip.Harrier's theory about selling out batting average to get a bunch of walk-freaks in his batting lineup would work a lot better in the sim as it is now.

I agree. Walks have become stupid in this thing. If I guy has a nice 2.25 walk rate - ok, not 1.19 or something, but better than decent - he should not end up with a 1.65 WHIP cause everyone freakin' walks.

It really depends on where you parkYou generally don't want to get stuck in the multi-level parking lots, as you get stuck there forever after the game

My dad refuses to take public transportation to the games when we go

We park at a lot directly across from the big bat

Outdoor lot, we tell them we're leaving early, they give us a spot close to the exit

Then we pretty much pull out and on to the highway on ramp

I dont think I have ever had this offensive oriented a team in any of the 10 sims. Even considering my ballpark that's the case (I have had some pretty offense favorable parks before, fenway etc).

Oddly, a couple of my pitchers are actually considerably better at home, which is weird... though overall pitching is a total crapshoot here. You'd think 900 innings of 1.05, 1.01 and .99 WHIP, all with good HR numbers and other plus numbers, would be solid.

Agreed. Mathewson has been Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde this year, at times looking brilliant and others looking like he's throwing batting practice. Unit has for the most part been fairly good, although his HR rate is maddening. Hippo freaking Vaughn has the best ERA of my staff.....at 4.30. My bullpen is absolutely deplorable. In an effort to make myself smile about their sad state, I'm going to recreate a scene from Animal Houseean Wormer: Mr. Fernandez, you have a 4.71 ERA. Congratulations Sid, You're at the top of the Tosche Station bullpen. Mister Radatz?**** Radatz: Hello!Dean Wormer: Five Point Sixty-three. Fat, ineffective, and stupid is no way to go through life, son. Mister Smith, closer of the Power Converters? 5.68 ERA and a OAV of .370. FINE example you set! Norm Charlton....HAS no ERA. All pitches ineffective. Mister Her....MISTER HERNANDEZ....TEN. POINT. I guess this is where everyone comes to complain. I agree walks are out of control, but I knew my teams would have an issue so I am okay with it. The one I can not explain is Johnny Pesky has 11 errors in 20 games. He is a B+/A- and had only had 25 errors in the entire season in '46.
