My wife bought me one with the Number 15 on it(My birthday) and Snogger on the back.. Players come and go, but I'll be around for a while.Well, you see, there's two problems...1) The new jerseys are "u-g-l-y they ain't got no alibi, they UGLY!" I tried to like them, and the purple uni's look better than the road whites, but really, they're horrible. It's like wearing a Salvador Dali or Pablo Picasso painting.2) The team is COMPLETELY DEVOID of star power. Who's jersey are we supposed to buy? a) Williamson? I'd be afraid to carry my children or the groceries in from the car.b) Brad Johnson or Darren Sharper? Does it come with a complementary walker?c) Greenway? Yeah, a guy that got hurt in the 1st preseason game.d) Fred "Love Boat" Smoot?The only one worth having and the one I really do want is Antoine Winfield.Note to Vikings fansLEASE GET SOME NEW JERSEYS!Over half of the Vikings jerseys I saw last night were either Moss or Culpeppers ones. It's not like they were the $100 official ones either. Most were the Walmart Logo 7 cheapos and the numbers were nearly worn off. Is it that hard to go purchase a new $20 jersey from Walmart?

When your two best players are interior defensive linemen, your marketing department is going to have problems.From a football standpoint though, damn they're impressive! I said when the Vikes got Pat Williams that it was probably their best FA signing ever. Why Buffalo let him go is incomprehensible.

The two things Ted Cottrell ever did right was bringing Fat Pat & Winfield with himThem fellas can play. Winfield should have 2 hits on Jacked up this week.I am holding off buying a jersey to see if Jackson is the real thing - if so I'll get a 7 (heck my name is Jack so that helps too)

I've been to a couple Packer/Vikins games in the last 3 years or so at Lambeau and have to agree they are pretty respectful and there are a hell of a lot of them. Wish the Packer ticket office would care about how their tickets got sold like the Patriots dNote to Vikings fans
ne little story, wife and I are at the game with a couple of friends and they want to get the wave going. It wasn't working and she was getting a little frustrated. I told her to look at the stands. There's too much purple. Way too many Vikings fans to get this thing going here at Lambeau.Packers lost 30-27 but haven't been to a boring Packers/Viking game ever. 4 total including one at County Stadium back in '90 I think. (They lost that one too.)
