***Official Tigers vs Yankees ALCS Thread*** (1 Viewer)

Wow.

I despise the Yankees, but I don't want to see Kuroda get screwed having a game like this.

Sucks to see that call get botched.

WHY ARE YOU PINCH HITTING FOR Q????

HATE YOU JIMMY SMOKES

AND YES HE GOT THE HIT WHILE I WAS TYPING THIS AND I STAND BY IT.

Will America mourn and protest bad calls against the Yanks? Cost them a game last night and could be the death knell in this one.

Yeah didn't think so.

Garcia should not be starting in a ALCS..the kid is an auto-out. And I don`t blame him because he is trying..just not ready.
He had one of the only clutch hits they had in the ALDS and he's in there for the defensive play he had in game 2 of the ALDS.Who should be playing instead of him vs lefties?
The corner OF spot needed to be addressed down the stretch. I beleive you stated that as well. Beleive me I want to see Garcia drive a pitch somewhere.
That's three RBI singles in the 8th in this playoffs for Garcia. :coffee:

What call was that?
Some strike three call or something really moronic. I almost commented on it but let it go at the time because I wasn't sure if he was serious. The Infante call today was obviously terrible.

Gee, that wasn't predictable

NOt that they would have scored, but that call still turns my stomach

How do you miss it THAT badly when you are standing over it?

So Cano was out at first last night in the second inning? Look, the Yanks have no kit coming to them, but thats a couple of brutal, game changing calls.

is swisher blind? i think we may find out after the series hes been playing with legal blindness since the playoffs started

Cano was safe at first

WOuld have scored a run
So that call was why the Yankees lost last night? No one knows what would have happened in a 4-1 game and Yankees fans didn't seem outraged at the time. Maybe all those check swing calls the Yanks got last night helped also, we'll never know.

Here is a suggestion: why don't you spend some of the highest payroll on some guys who can score 1 run off good starting pitching? If you honestly think that Cano call last night was "game changing," you're a moron.

Today's was unconscionable

 They went to extra innings. I'm not saying it was you Doc, but it was talked about the time in here and this was a thread full of "Fister got squeezed" early on last night. Play the hand you're dealt and calls have gone for the Yanks in their time but The Yanks have had a host of brutal calls bite them in the last month.

Way to try and change the principal subject. Did you think that the Yankees may have never had a ####### runner on base at all or that Fister may have gone the distance had the umpire had a reasonable strikezone? I bet you didn't. :bye:

:lmao: you brought up payroll you clown. I have not slogged this piece of crap team in this thread enough for you? This team is garbage. They don't need the help of the umpires to shove them off the cliff.

:lmao: Reasonable strikezone.

A great opportunity here to give Valverde his confidence back.
I'd go batter by batter with him. The Yanks are so ####ed and confused right now. I mean, the horrible part of Jeter and the Infante call is, it will only take the focus of this crap assemblage. I said it early on this year, for Cashman to take basically the same team to war last year that went out in the first round, apart from Ibanez early and Ichrio midseason is a total disgrace. The minor league system is crap from a position player standpoint and this whole house of cards is about to come down when they can't buy in the IFA market like they used to. I'm no longer convinced he's the man for the job. The trouble is, the braintrust of this team sucks. Randy Levine is blaming stubhub for this attendance disgrace going on. This organization is about to go into the abyss. Fitting season that Mo and Jeter ended up in crumbled heaps on the field.

When you start every season with such an overwhelming advantage, it's nice to see things get straightened out a little.
