All I have to do is string together about nine IFs and they might make the playoffs!

I think they have the 5th longest string of active teams since a playoff berth. Hard to imagine it has been that long since I still remember the hay days. I guess I am getting old.

They'll be able to mash a little more this year. The starting pitching really needs to overperform to make a serious run at it.

If the Sox and/or Yankees would do them a favor and fall apart that would help.

Quite surprised they let Halladay go 10 innings last night. He only threw 107 pitches but with his injury history, I didn't think they'd keep putting him out there.

why was Marcum pulled after giving up just 1 hit in 6.2 innings?

EDIT: guess he was hurt and they took him out after the no-hitter was broken up.

He was cramping up all game. He said he was exhausted after taking his warm-up pitches in the first inning.
