Did the refs get together at halftime and decide they didn't already get enough screen time?  Besides making some of the worst review calls I have ever seen?  

 
You guys are gonna call me nuts because they have scored no TDs tonight, but this backup QB for FIU is an unpolished gem. He looks like the YouTube highlights of Allen Iverson playing QB in high school. Put him in the right system where he has some weapons at WR and he can use his legs and he can be a dangerous college QB.

It's weird to me that people don't know what Gasparilla is, but if you aren't from this area I guess you wouldn't.

I'm telling you, the good work that DD, Lamskin, RN and others put in over the last few years has paid off. No doubt it was a heavy influence in this.

Because with this glorious Bowl game and it's festivities, it sounds like they took the FBG Beefs Bowl festivities and just made a Bad Boy Mowers version. FBG's gave them the blueprint. That social media girl that kept threatening to file charges on DD was really running those ideas up the ladder. FBG's help them see how wonderful and ridiculous a Bowl game can really be. Unfortunately, it could never come to fruition with Beefs (outside of our own minds), as Beefs just didn't have the cash to pony up. But Bad Boy Mowers was down, so here we are.

Excellent work, gentleman.

It's like a big budget bad movie vs. a low budget bad movie. You just can't compete with The Gasparilla Bowl from a pure entertainment level.

Remember, this Bowl Game gave us one of the great games in Bowl history when way back in 2014, Western Kentucky beat Central Michigan 49-48.  Back then, this was the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl (no racist) and frankly, I can't understand why it's still not referred to it as such, even if Popeyes pulled the ad money.  This game was 49-14 at the end of 3 before now Cowboys great Cooper Rush lead his team to a furious 4th quarter comeback, throwing 7 TDs on the day.  The Chippewas could have tied the game after this incredible final TD and sent it to overtime with the PAT, obliterating point total records for all eternity in the process, but they boldly went for 2 instead and while ballsy, was ultimately unsuccessful.  

What magic is in store for us today?  If you're not watching it, I just don't think you care about football at all.
