***OFFICIAL*** Vikings vs Seahawks NFC Playoff Game Thread (1 Viewer)

It's hard to gauge with the weather but it sure seems like there is a lot to build around in Minnesota. I think Teddy will progress next season. Any chance Norv is moved on?

ADP was terrible today and didn't get a lot of help. How come the Vikes can't build a top 3-5 OL that is dominant in the run? They have more than ADP, a couple other RBs that have a lot of log time in games over the last couple seasons. Seems like they could exploit that more.

Kyle Rudolph is not terrible. The WRs need a little seasoning, Mike Wallace needs to go fast, whatever way fast is.

Rodney Harrison says that it comes down to Teddy not making enough plays in the 4th Qtr and Wilson did.

Teddy helped set them up for a 27 yd FG. If Brady or Manning did that they'd say there's nothing more the QB could have done. So dumb.

He nailed the others with the laces facing him. He just choked and yanked it.
He was able to compensate on one of the snaps by kicking under the laces. But that only works if you're kicking straight ahead. This time he had to kick slightly to the right so he didn't have that option.

It shouldn't have come down to the FG...they should have (or needed to) scored a TD on one of the FG drives. Teddy took too many sacks again in crucial parts of the game.

Re-watching the missed kick the post above about lining up on the right hash mark is a good call..

Had they been on the right hash mark that kick is good and the Vikes are more then likely heading to Arizona for another game.. :kicksrock:

There should be no question after this weekend who the two luckiest teams in the NFL are. Pitt and seattle had no business winning these games. Luckier then the devil really......
Russell Wilson is the NFC's version of Ben Reothlisburger. Not the greatest QBs of all time, but someone always seems to be looking out for them, as they escape situations and make something positive happen where most every other QB (Teddy Bridgewater) gets sacked. Just unreal.

It's easier on the right hash mark so he can hook it. A lot of kickers do that now on extra points

Cmon man, where is the thread for the GB/Wash game? There are two more fan bases I need to hear ##### for the next 3+ hours

They speculated Locke was afraid to spin the ball with gloves on. So take your gloves off for 30 seconds for the play. Geez.

Yeah, that was stupid. If Walsh makes it, he would literally say the opposite. He did enough to set them up to win. Talking heads, just have to have something to say.

The NFL has a hard on for big ben, Wilson, legion of junk, Tomlin...I don't even like cincy or minny but you cant deny those teams are lucky as hell......

I'm not sure where to even begin...

Does anyone remember the drive that Wilson had in the super bowl last year - all of a sudden Brady was awesome.

Didn't matter. Sorry, but laces don't hook the ball that bad. He just didn't seem to adjust at all for kicking from the left hash mark. 27 yarder should be a chip regardless of laces. From what a previous poster (Dez) said, Walsh kicks all XPs from the right hash mark. I wonder how much he even practiced the left hash mark kick.

As much as I'd like to agree the league can't make a guy miss a 27 yard fg. The refs had nothing to do with either teams ultimate fate. Both teams had much more to do with their own demise than anything else.

Teams make their own luck.

In the end, it really comes down to the fact that the Vikings couldn't get in the End Zone.. 3 FG's just isn't enough in this day of the NFL.. I think a lot of that has to come down on Norv.. 17 games and he still insisted on keeping Teddy in the pocket and count on the OL to protect him.

Looking forward to seeing what this Young team can do next year.
