I feel like I'm watching football squeezed in between endless commercials
They won't, cause its $$$, but something they need to fix.

All the talk was how the experience at home is good, its getting worse with game flow with all the commercials.

Love watching refs come running in to spot the ball in a straight line, then move when they get up to the ball
Thought the same thing. Not sure why we haven't gone computer chip in the ball, with electronic frackers on the field? It's 2016. I thought about that ten years ago. Get with it NFL.
We've still probably got 5-8 years until electronic frackers are in common use
That's stupid. The NFL is a billion dollar+ Industry, Apple can probably have a prototype ready in a couple weeks if asked.
It is used in soccer already
Yes and no. Used for goals but not offsides.
Tracker in the ball can't help for offsides, would have to put it in everyone's boots.
They have something similar that tracks how much each player runs. And they have lasers used for offsides but it's only used for TV

I can't believe there are people in this thread suggesting they should not be playing football in this weather. This is perfect football weather. I played in weather like this when I was 10, except we also had to deal with 6 inches of snow on the field, no heaters, and far less insulating clothing. I've never liked the term "####ification", but apparently it is very real.

I think there is only one person. The weather is fine.

as long as they don't pretend that player safety is important. certainly not a safe environment to play, but i guess im not tough like you real men in here.
What is inherently dangerous about playing in the cold? You're reaching.
FrostbiteHypothermia
Acute rednessCold cheeks
Exhaled air becomes visible
Hard nipples

Stupid cat wants to sleep inside

Got ya. I wasn't paying attention to who was posting what. Just saw the long thread about how "inherently dangerous" this is... SMH

I understand going for it since a FG would be very tough from that distance in the cold, but if you are going to go for it take a shot or at least throw past the sticks

Possibly chapped lips. Terrible really

WTF, 4th and 13 and you throw it underneath? You have to throw it closer to the sticks there or past them. Even if you throw an INT it's better than conceding the possession. Plays like that kill me, take a shot for Gods sake.

Yup. If they throw an INT around the Redzone Minnesota would be backed up and most likely run.

Yeah, real men get frostbitten and don't complain about it. Did you also used to walk uphill both ways to school in the snow and smoke cigarettes on airplanes and not have airbags in your car and build your schools with asbestos and die from polio and

You realize people actually live out in Minnesota right? They actually go outside in weather like this and do stuff. Grow a pair.

Yeah, but can you imagine having to worry about two sets of chapped lips?

With all the "It's so cold" angles they played in the pregame it's a wonder that didn't revisit all the times where guys got frostbite and hypothermia in cold games past.

Weird.
