***Official Week 12 Bragging*** (1 Viewer)

Lost McNabb last week and had to pick up a free agent QB and start him and I picked up Romo and was very happy with his performance yesterday. :bye:

Got Miami D as a throw-in (gave UP the Dallas D) in a trade for Terry Glenn a month ago -- Glenn was to be a bye-week replacement type. Didn't like Dallas' upcoming schedule, and quite liked Miami's, and MAN, is MIA D ever on FIRE!

yes sir, i too had MB3 and left jones on the bench!!! also benched clayton last minute and put in henderson....im up 60 points and have lt in now

League 1

89pts and still got Peyton to go & Gates still playing

League 2

Palmer, Chad, Glenn, Heap, Tynes, Miami & Kaeding still kicking ( over 100pts but i might lose still! )

In one league, I needed another QB since Green isn't doing squat. I picked up Vince Young and started him this week. Looks like that was a good decision.

Lost McNabb last week. I have zero fantasy credits left to pick up a replacement QB.

2 weeks without a QB......2 weeks with league's highest score.

GB Tomlinson, Ocho Cinco, and Baltimore's D

From the venting thread:

I'll start - benched Romo for the magical mystery that is Hasselbeck returning. 10 minutes left in the fourth and I have 35 points on my bench - against an opponent who played Owens. :(
I know I have to repost this in the bragging thread, but wanted to update that, even w/o Romo's points, I won. :)Everything Hass scores for me tomorrow night will just be a bonus - legaue average scoring is 85-ish, my opponent put up 110, I will win my game 114-110 if Hass doesn't play - I'd have had 145 this week if I started Romo - that would have been good for third highest score of the year.I rule because I am in second place overall, the win clinches the division, and - since the third place guy is going to lose unless Branch score 39 - I will clinch a top-2 seeding and a first round bye.One win in week 15 and I'm back in the Bowl for the fourth time in five years in a $1000 grand prize/$350 runner-up league. :D

I was dissappointed that I didnt start McGahee. I was like Should I pull Addai for McGahee?

I dont trust the ribs I am going Addai.

Well 3 TD's later.... I FINALLY made the right decision! Bench Vick, Bench McGahee and Start Palmer and Addai. Top scorer in my league this week!

WOO HOO!

I actually won my games in ALL three of my leagues today DESPITE my stupidity.

I had Addai sitting on the bench while starting Dunn in (YES) ALL three leagues. I ready several times this morning to swap them but just could not convince myself to do it.

two of the three came down to the last Colts drive where the Colts ran the ball all the way down the field without throwing a pass.

It's kind of ironic that becasue Addai ran so well, he kind of helped me win anyway, by allowing the Colts to run rather then pass.

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU

Bought Addai in both of my auction/salary cap leagues when everyone else was tripping over DeAngelo Williams, Jerious Norwood, Laurence Maroney etc. My theory was to take the RB on the best offence in the NFL -- sooner or later Addai would benefit from being on Peyton Manning's team. Tonight was absolute confirmation.

Having LT on both of those squads hasn't heard either...

Just got thinking about this because it looks like I'm gonna have to take on two undefeated teams come week 14 and it also appears that I will probably have to win both games to get into the playoffs in the mentioned leagues. Fun!

The dynasty team has scored the most points in the league but one thing that both the undefeated teams have in common is that they both have the least points scored against them, by at least 100 less then the next team.

I'm pretty sure he was worried about getting one of those bogus roughing the passer flags thrown at him. Thought he had the QB "in the grasp".

how in the world is that 2nd team undefeated?
Well, I didn't think it was bragging because I wasn't talking about my team, just wanted to see the undefeated teams still out there. That team averaged a starting line-up of Manning, Barber and K. Jones, Owens and correct other receiver of the week, Watson, Gould and Steelers. That plus the low scores against him. The team's actually 4th in scoring.

Romosexuals unite
I started Mr. Tony "freaking" Romo in all 3 of my fantasy leagues this week.I also sported Andre Johnson & Anquan Boldin in 2 of 3 leagues. :banned: :banned: at going 3-0 in one week for only the second time this year. :banned: :banned:

Romo knows football!

Romo and the Raven's Defense beat down the league's leader by a 50 pt. margin. Now if Cutler can do the same in Denver I'll be a happy pony.

I usually don't like to brag because it really doesn't mean anything but i'm having my best year..

Before this year, i've only had one division title. After this weekend, i've clinched 2nd division title of the season. I clinched the first one a couple of weeks ago. Now i have 3 division titles. I've never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs. Hopefully that will change this year.

Was down by 117 to 125.5 with Driver left on my team and Favre left on his team.

Imagine my surprise this morning when I won!

Driver: 14 points

Favre: 3 PaInt, -1 RuYd, FL  :excited:

(266 PaYd, PaTD (48),

Final score: 131 to 129.5 :football:

12-0 in my main money league, baby!! 141 pts this week, with Fast Willie and Marvin starting! My lineup:

QB: Bulger, Kitna, Favre (start 2 QB league)

RB: L Johnson, W Parker, T Jones, M Jones-Drew, R Droughns

WR: M Harrison, D Driver, L Coles, L Evans, Mark Clayton

PK: J Wilkins

DEF: Balt

Obviously I've been thrilled with this lineup thus far, but I am a little concerned about my QBs heading into the playoffs (they've all slumped considerably since having a great Sept/Oct).

Also still alive in the subscriber contest despite having only one active QB on my roster. Luckily his name is Brees :banned:

Earlier this year, I shattered the all-time scoring high with 171 in my money league - and that was without a kicker.

I came close to that mark this week.

QB: McNair (10.60)

WR: Driver (14.60), Boldin (24.90)

RB: LT (32.36), Addai (48.20), Parker (4.10)

TE: Gates (15.30)

K: Scobee (6.00)

DEF: SD (10.00)

Total: 165.96

I got an e-mail from one of my bigger rivals on Friday chiding me for not playing Marion Barber. "I'm really surprised you're not playing Barber over Addai - it really looks like Barber is taking over in Dallas".

Needless to say, I was happy to point to Addai's explosion on Sunday night.

I had such an awful year with one of my teams, capped off by D. Clarks injury that I gotta brag about the ones that are workig.

Right before leaving for the big Thanksgiving feast, benched Kitna for Romo and picked up the Miami D.

My friend that invited me into this league is probably pretty pissed since I beat him 81-34. Got this team nd another not particularly stellar group into the playoffs in my two money leagues. Pride comes before the fall though. Last year I was #1 in one league an #2 in another and got knocked out in the first round in both.

My only undefeated team is a joke - it's definitely a guppy league, and I feel bad even mentioning this. And when I post this team, please don't consider it "bragging" - I'm just in the league with some friends, and I almost feel bad about this team and draft.QB: Rivers, VinceWR: Wayne, Roy Williams, Glenn, MasonRB: LJ, Willie Parker, Gore, Kevin Jones, Henry, Jamal Lewis  TE: WatsonK: ElamDEF: SDThere's another league I would have been undefeated but accidentally sat Roy Williams in week 3. Ooops.

A.J. Hawk led me to a division title last night. I was down by ten, the other guy had Tatupu, and now I'm headed to the playoffs! :banned:

Not to mention pulling off a Desmond Clark/Eddie Kennison for Drew Brees trade a few weeks ago.. without that, I'd be toast (had Brunell, Carr and Plummer).

decided to go with alexander and mb3. picked up d.henderson. started harrington over brady. started cincy d. won a big div game 138-136.
