I guess we got the big payoffs we've been waiting for but this whole show just still leaves me feeling sort of Meh.  Don't get me wrong..its obviously very well done television. But I just don't think it holds a candle to some of HBO's other great character-driven shows.

So what happened to Logan after William sent him off? Are we supposed to think he's dead and that's how William came to power with Delos?

Also, hypothetically Logan is dead, I don't see how a family business is passed along to someone who went in with him, but didn't come back with him.

Im not in the mood to type up every hole I see out there from my phone, but maybe a little more tomorrow. Above would scream at the top of my list though.

Fifth triple double in a row, you just kinda knew he's go off this year to prove to everybody that he is the surprise individual player.   I know that they won't win a championship, and Golden State very much could but this just proves again that a professional athlete feeling scorned is not one who should be taken lightly.
I see some plot holes, but this kinda connects the dots for me.

Would have been an awesome series finale.

Question, in the "previously on" before the show, they showed Arnold talking to Delores about the maze. Does anyone remember this from an actual episode?

Pretty awesome.  Hopkins is darn perfect for his role.  Going to binge this later in the month around the holidays.

Even if we knew a lot of it was coming, the finale tied a lot of stuff up very nicely. Thought they did a good job of breaking everything down so that even the reddit-less among us could understand what was going on.

My wife asked me at one point before reveal if I thought William would be the Man in Black

The show is clever, well acted, and well executed. I watched every episode and enjoyed following along with this thread. I thought the season finale was entertaining. But I also did not care, at all, about the characters and what happened to them. That puts a low ceiling on where the show ranks on my personal list of favorite shows.

Possibly because most of the characters ARE ####ING ROBOTS?

I guess this is where I differ with a lot of folks. I DO care about the characters... just do so in a context of not REALLY knowing who is good vs bad, and perhaps that's part of the moral in that there is no such thing as objective goodness, or evil.  Or maybe there is but we live in the dimension of those shades of grey.

Either way, I care about Bernard.  I want to know more about Ford (and curious to see what's next for him one way or another). I care about MiB, and especially his motivations.  I care about Maeve... and again, her motivations and progression. Perhaps it's less the character I care about so much as what they represent both within us and society, but I definitely care.

Above all, I care about Arnold I suppose, and this whole story is indeed about his vision, and I'm vested in seeing how this progresses.

The only thing that truly strikes me about the ending is that is mimics the Wyatt, Delores killing everyone, scene almost perfectly.  The only difference is that Delores didn't shoot herself at the end of it.  It might just be possible that the entire scene was in Delores' mind in some way.

Who knows.  Looks like we have 2 years to think about it.
