Seem fixated on the big 'O'. NTTATWWTOy, that men want to see? You guys had all the other "male" dominated sports to check out. We had this one. Summer O has more sporting events than winter. There's only so much sport you can do on ice/snow. Winter O imo is not nearly as entertaining as summer, including the ice skating. I'd rather see gymnastics than ice skating. These O seemed to try and get more sport variety by adding 12 new events, which only one was in figure skating with the addition of the team medal. IMO you need to be a hard core skiier, snow boarder, etc to really get into the winter Os vs summer that has such a nice variety from water to land so to speak.Summer Olympics doesn't really have anything comparable to Ice Skating/Dancing that dominates the ratings so I think they spread the coverage around a lot better.TheIronSheik said:Just the Winter Olympics. I thought the London Olympics coverage by them was pretty good. It actually had me pumped for the Winter Olympics coverage. One step forward, 100 steps back.Nighttime coverage was awful. The daytime stuff when they decided to show it was pretty good.
I love NBC's football, hockey and soccer coverage. Best in the business IMO. Not sure why they can't get it together with the Olympics.![]()
I blame the women tv viewers. They drive all those personal story vignettes and crap that NBC loves to put on instead of just showing live sporting events that men want to see.
