Put me on AUTOSKIP/NorwoodPick for the rest of the day.

Putting myself on self-imposed daily ban to get some work done today.

To keep us entertained, what is it that everyone in this league does as their day job (for those for whom, WIS is not their day job).

Director of Business Development for a Real Estate Development Firm here (specialize in large scale downtown revitalization projects in smaller cities / suburban downtowns).

:)
Middle management ... my team of 16 (LOOK AT ME :pickle: ) does financial data analysis in the public sector. More specifically ... our eyes are closely focused on the public money spent on disaster recovery in the Gulf Coast.

Every time Arsenal comes into this thread ... I hear the opening drums & synth of "Spirits in the Material World" in my head :) We should all have theme songs.
lolThe phrase Arsenal of Doom actually comes from another song on that album:

I'm a walking nightmare

an Arsenal of Doom

I kill conversation as I walk into a room

I'm a thee line whip

I'm the sort of thing they ban

I'm a walkng disaster, I'm a Demolition Man

It's the avatar that does it ... one of my favorite all-time album covers.

Well, like 3 people MIGHT know Koyaanisqatsi, so my theme music may not reverberate so well with the masses.
Great, now I'm going to have that chanting in my head all day.KOYAN---ISQATSIIIIIIII

Hmmmm ... we could use you down here.
We do some work in LA, but not a lot Katrina related. From what I hear it is a mess down there but there is so much federal money that most of the problems are just ignored. Not the best situation but hopefully they start paying more attention to it.

just started a new gig in the Home Warranty industry, leading a team that does marketing/product/pricing strategy for the market share leader in this space. Had been in similar roles in the auto insurance business for the past 18 years. this is what has prompted the relo to Memphis.had tried to start up my own insurance analytics company a year ago, but the timing couldn't have been worse.

FWIW, Dirty Pskov is four picks behind again. No reply to me e-mail to either of them.

EDIT: Pskov was on FBGs forum yesterday morning ... halos was on a few hours ago. Guess they're done :(

I think we have two options:1. Continue doing the community draft for rounds 18-25 and find an owner who'll manage the team during the season

2. Let Bogart in with his "Hall of Lame" team

One vote for "Hall of Lame" :towelwave: EDIT: This all kind of sucks, though ... don't think we've ever had a straight-up mid-draft drop-out before. I remember Bogart having trouble drafting for the Disco Era draft, but he still came in at the end and entered his team into the league and everything.
