5.23 - Chuck Klein (OF, Phillies)

PIC
Great pick. Couldn't take him because I already had a Phillie.
Thanks. I was counting on that... what I wasn't counting on was you taking my other pick (Campanella) in the process.
Klein was the hitter I had typed in earlier, somewhat regret not taking him now.Frank Baker is ####### awful though, so you hit .500 there.
How can a guy named HOME RUN be awful? Shame on you.

Probably using him in the wrong spot in the line-up. Did you consult Koya?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! Maybe my first work related event that felt as good as any Super Bowl win... Got our final approvals on Long Islands largest ever development and will be under costruction in a few months. Better than a walk off Shane Spencer World Series Homer.YEAH #####ES!!!!

Who has the fanciest setup for this draft? franco must have like 12 spreadsheets going all sorted by position and franchise scarcity.I have 2 bookmarks. Hitters 1903-1992 and pitchers 1903-1992. :bag:

Oso, now that I know you are local, we should band together and create the greatest cheat sheets ever seen. Or just drink more, really, your call.

Don Wilson, ASTROS. I have no idea who this is.
Wilson's professional career began after he graduated from Compton Community College in Compton, California
On June 18, 1967, Wilson no-hit the Atlanta Braves 2–0 at the Astrodome. The no-hitter was the first ever pitched either in a domed stadium or on artificial turf. Along the way, he struck out 15 batters, including Hank Aaron for the final out.
In 1968, Wilson set the Astros club record for single-game strikeouts with 18 against the Dodgers.
On January 5, 1975, Wilson died at his Fondren Southwest Houston home he shared with his wife, daughter and son. Wilson was found in the passenger seat of his brown Ford Thunderbird inside the garage with the engine running. The garage was attached to the house, which caused his son, Alex, to die also and his daughter and wife to be hospitalized in a coma. The official cause of death states that Wilson's death was accidental.
