I almost took Morgan but he has disappointed me in three previous sims so I went in a different direction. He's approaching my never draft again list.(currently Cy Young and another guy yet to be taken)

I had Morgan in the first dice roll sim and he was awesome. I almost took him at 2.3.

Poor coaching on my part maybe, he has been underwelming each time I've had him.

That's been my experience as well. Low BB/9 pitchers and A+ catcher arms neutralize some of his walks and speed respectively.He's still good value in the third.

I don't like Koufax in these things, but I do like Speaker, so I won't vote for pump.I honestly don't think anyone totally hosed up their draft. Maybe the Rosen/Dimaggio combo? I think if I had to pick a bad combo it would be Carlton/Reulbach.If you want one pick for the worst, I'd say koufax.
 
Schmidt and Morgan are pretty much blacklisted for me along with Tony Gwynn. They just never live up to the hype and I've had three different Schmidts. They all sucked. The Morgan I had recently grounded out to second a lot. Never had a Koufax.

I haven't figured out the franchise angle other than the expansion teams are considerably thinner than the other sixteen clubs. People who play their franchises out may be able to grab a productive player later while the rest of us are grubbing for the 21st best Brewer.I don't recall 72 Carlton being a standout in previous sims.

Weird. I've had awesome luck with Schmidt and Morgan, although Schmidt was in a short-era sim. Maybe he'll blow for me this time.
