would also add that by using ERC#, you are already accounting for HR rate.just using ERC# and innings for pitchers with no consideration for HRs. It's crude to say the least.

Not quite with the weight jfranco gives HR/9, though.would also add that by using ERC#, you are already accounting for HR rate.just using ERC# and innings for pitchers with no consideration for HRs. It's crude to say the least.

I don't think ERC# weights it enough. Ideally I would use something like [ ERC# / HR9# ] or some other modifier.would also add that by using ERC#, you are already accounting for HR rate.just using ERC# and innings for pitchers with no consideration for HRs. It's crude to say the least.
hear ya', but that formula would be a massive overweighting of HR/9I don't think ERC# weights it enough. Ideally I would use something like [ ERC# / HR9# ] or some other modifier.
Easily do-able In This Format.gonna try to get by with only 13 batters. 7900 PAs should be plenty, however.
12 batters, 5430 AB, ~6300 PAgonna try to get by with only 13 batters. 7900 PAs should be plenty, however.
if it flops I just move Gwynn to the OF and sit Wynn and have an OF of Gwynn, Jackson, and Williams (and no defense). Cecil Travis is equally capable at 3B and SS.25.03 -- Chick Hafey, OF Cards
I thought about getting Ken Boyer to trade to larryboy later when his Gwynn experiment completely flops, but it's complicated with the franchise restrictions. So I'm taking I guy I was mulling when I took Zack Wheat for my 3rd OF spot. Hafey is an xbh machine and a righty bat so now he and Clemente can get some swings if I sit Wheat or Ashburn against lefties. Nothing like getting 336/407/652 in the 25th.![]()
did anyone pick a season from one of the above?Athletics = Kansas City Athletics
Braves = Boston Braves, Boston Bees, Boston Beaneaters, Boston Doves
Dodgers = Brooklyn Robins, Brooklyn Superbas
Indians = Cleveland Naps
Phillies = Philadelphia Blue Jay's (yes, WIS has the apostrophe)
Red Sox = Boston Americans
Yankees = New York Highlanders
GLLLWhy not take a Red Rolfe instead of Ron freaking Davis?if it flops I just move Gwynn to the OF and sit Wynn and have an OF of Gwynn, Jackson, and Williams (and no defense). Cecil Travis is equally capable at 3B and SS.25.03 -- Chick Hafey, OF Cards

I saw value in getting some more IP (111 IP, .189 OAV#, 10.43 K/9#, 1.99 ERC#) and those are really good numbers.I'd be comfortable with using Ozzie at SS and Travis at 3B is necessary. I just don't see it being a major issue.GLLLWhy not take a Red Rolfe instead of Ron freaking Davis?if it flops I just move Gwynn to the OF and sit Wynn and have an OF of Gwynn, Jackson, and Williams (and no defense). i came really close to picking Bob Cerv 1958 KC A's- No KC Athletics seasons are likely to be used. Colavito, Maris, and Campaneris played for the KC A's at various times.
