OFFICIAL WIS XVIII THREAD: An Ode to Claude Hendrix (1 Viewer)

20.xx makeup Riggs Stephenson, Util, 1920s

all i have left is no later than 1929, so slim pickens out there, but he rates at 2b, 3b and OF and seems usable to kill some PAs.

Finally got a full batting order:

Just when you think Edgar Martinez can't make another error, he does.
I can't recall his 1995 season ever being used at 1B, though I know it's been tried at 3B.

Going by percentages, 1995 Martinez is six times more likely to make an error at 3B than at 1B. He'll lead all 1B in errors, but he won't produce them at anywhere near the rate he'd produce them at third.

EDIT: Just went and checked his performance history, which gives fielding stats by position for players. 1995 Edgar Martinez averages a .993 FLD% at 1B, which is 1.8% better than his real-life percentage. Go figure. That's more than tolerable.

EDIT2: Going by his WIS sim performance history, he's actually about 15 times more likely to E at third than at first. I'm beginning to see why WIS long-timers hardly regard defense at 1B.
