Number of SimLive games would have played had we been allowed to since Friday? Probably a couple dozen, many more if others were around.

And it's not as if the reality of that weekend being the only opportunity to play was not brought to light. Nor does it change the fact that I'm less enthused at this point because of how things happened than I ever have been before in 20 something sims.

Now as mentioned I have no need to rehash this unless others bring it up, though I'll certainly continue to prod... Or we can move past it all if we agree to allow some of us to well, have more fun, next to around.

 
Hey guys, time to start rolling for the BTTF 4 league.....thread is updated.

Lets get this thing started so I can set the league up in round 20 and koya can get his pre-season sim live fix!!!

Oops, koya isnt in that league is he?

Number of FFA Sim leagues: ~ 20

Number of Sim Leagues prior to this where commish didn't allow some preseason fun before end of draft: ~ 19

Number of sim leagues where commish overstepped their bounds and eliminated said preseason fun: 1

Number of times the champ was a great team/league player looking to solve rather than cause problems: ~ 19

Number of times the champ was screwed out of preseason fun without any ( good) reason or precedent: 1

I sense a pattern

 
This isn't the first time you've showed your butt in one of these. Don't kid yourself.

ETA: What you mean to say is "eliminated YOUR preseason fun because he didn't give YOU exactly what YOU wanted when YOU wanted it." There are plenty of people having preseason fun, and I think we can see the real pattern here.

No. A good number of others expressed their desire to start. You know, like in every other season.

Second, I'm one lonely player. A commish should have the good of the league in mind and not look for personal battles or needling someone when they feel screwed, however much or little said commish agrees with them.

As a commish of actual big money fantasy leagues, I'd never behave in the base and foolish ( albeit poignant and on point) manner I am, nor you by sorts rubbing it in.

As noted, it would die a more natural death if the great commish would rise above it at worst, or actually look for a solution that everyone or a vast majority could embrace... Which even at this point with this season lost I suggested.

You can't tell that at this point my rantings and ravings are the most fun I can have considering I felt screwed out of one of the best parts of every other season? ( and while no one else is nearly so adamant, I'm hardly the only one that wanted to get going and saw no good reason not to).

Hell two days ago I was done with this. I now have a calling. This, the righteous approach to WIS commising, is my new raison d'être. And it has brought me new life and new vigor.

As I stated before, plenty of others wanted to start. They may not have had the issue of being on a phone only for this whole week which provides this as my only outlet.

As to the rest, I'll let my last post speak to the points at hand. But I will acknowledge this - at least there's a reason for me to have some fun and remain active in the thread. In all fairness I suppose I have you to thank for that small consolation.

This is, seriously, as much fun I've haas since... Well... Since we were allowed to have preseason sim live.

 
I gotta new Macbook yesterday and just checked if I can play live, and it says I need a plugin. When I try to download one, it says, "no suitable plugins were found."

Or apparently I won't be in live because my seucirt settings won't allow it. Damn you WIS. Now I have to spend all morning troubleshooting java.

Gotta lower your java security settings. Fox Sports cares so much about WIS, it doesn't sign its security certificate.

What browser?

I can get it to work on my older macbook in Firefox and Safari. My newer macbook I used to be able to get it to work in Firefox, but am having a tough time sorting that out now

It's normally between 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Central.

Also, when a league first opens, its simming gets run later in the sequence, after other older leagues. Over the second half of the WIS season, you'll start noticing the scores coming up a little (maybe 10-15 minutes) earlier.

 
Game one in the books. Gibson pitches 7 innings and now his fatigue is at 1(24). Someone did not participate in a solid off-season program.

Took down the champ in a tough 3-2 ball game, well done. Pedro is, IMO, by far the best one game pitcher in this, at least if you can lower hrs which your park surely does.

I may be able to sneak in some live if I can get to airport early enough today.

He is at 0% fatigue right now. Means his arm would fall off if he pitched. Parentheses is what his fatigue level will be next game.

Pitcher fatigue is prorated over the 162 game season. It should even out after a turn through the rotation. With some of the short IP Pedro seasons, it might take two turns.

I believe default auto-rest is 98 which should be OK.
