OFFICIAL WIS XVIII THREAD: An Ode to Claude Hendrix (2 Viewers)

I am about ready to quit this league. Last game my team had 5 errors and a wild pitch that let a run score. I lost by a run. Oh, and Luke Appling has 14 errors in 40 games. Thats really fun.

 
Should be able to Live tomorrow, bar crawl today. Might be around tonight.

Somehow off to an ok start at 6-3 with Musial struggling and Joss without any of those 6 wins.

Will whatever you did allow SimLive to work on an iPhone/iPad as well? I am rarely at my laptop which is where I need to be in order to play.

No one in my bullpen except for one guy has an ERA below 5.68. Three (Beck, Ruffing, Putz) have ERAs above 10, including Ruffing's sparkling 15.63.

This is so much fun. :mellow:

 
got too drunk last night. only half drunk right now. gotta put the little ones to bed but wanna Sim live in at like 800 CST.

 
Hope to be around long enough later to get some games going.

In the meantime, while unlikely, some guys that could be trade bait. Could use a SS, a top flight starter, reliver or 1B, but who knows.

Ashburn, CF 50's (for ok fielding top flight OF in a combo deal)

Oscar Gamble OF 70's

Posada C 2000's

D. Camili 1930's (if a deal for top flight 1B were to work out)

Vern Stephens SS, 1940's

Any number of other players or pitchers (would need innings back) if there's a fit. Maybe a couple nonperforming players in a swap. See some of you all in live later.

 
I would love to understand how the how the SIM is calculated. Griffey is batting .150, seaver gives up 3 HRs in an inning and my relievers are either lights out or awful

Decades don't matter anymore, I thought....

 
Always nice to lose a game by my pitcher plunking Jeff Reardon in the back with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth then giving up a double to the next batter.
