Unpossible. I got a pasta pass and I can hardly stand the sight of it. Down to 1-2 visits a week and this is the last week, so I'm probably done for the rest of my life now.
How did you not start a thread about this?
Would a moderate amount of shame be an acceptable reason?

Besides, it would have been boring by now since I only go maybe twice a week now.

wonder if you can take it to go. freeze portions, can eat for a year if done properly
Yes you can. You're allowed to take home a fresh plate of pasta, another serving of breadsticks (2 or 3 depending on the waitress), and salad. You could also take soup home at an extra cost (meh).

My thing nowadays is to go there for lunch for breadsticks and salad/soup and take home pasta for dinner. Or, go easy on the breadsticks and salad and have pasta for dinner and then take home breadsticks, salad, and pasta for the next day.

Odd question, but does it only count for you? Like if you go with your wife, does she still have to pay for her meal, or can you both get pasta?

Nope, just for the cardholder only.

How much did they pay you to be a part of this experiment?

How much do you weigh? Height?

Nah man woulda been a great thread. Plenty of people here have done way more embarrassing.

"I ate breadsticks and then a salad and had their fettuccine alfredo for the third time in the last two weeks. Waiter doesn't say much because he's always bored. I leave tip and leave with tomorrow's lunch in hand."

I would have ghost written it for you and it would have been amazing.

I'm intrigued...if you don't mind:

Are you going to these meals alone, or with a friend/significant other? What's the split?

How much are you tipping each time you sit down?

At the beginning (since you're so turned off by it now), what's the most pasta you've put down in one sitting expressed in number of plates/bowls?

How many breadsticks do you estimate you have consumed?

Any puking?

Any interesting bathroom stories (home or away)?

What meals have you been eating when you're not eating Olive Garden or having leftovers?

Does the waitstaff recognize you by now? Have you felt judged?

If single, have you brought a date to this and what was their reaction when they saw your Pasta Pass?

1. Alone. There's an Olive Garden very close to work. No cost outside of tip.

2. $2 dollars, $3 if the service was good.

3. 1 and a half plates of pasta. Wanted to die afterwards.

4. Probably somewhere around 30-40 at this point.

5. No

6. Not really. Salad > soup when it comes to that.

7. Normal things. Again, I only go once or twice a week. Went more early on.

8. Yes, I'm recognized by the manager and two others. It's all in good fun.

9. No dates to Olive Garden (too many good places elsewhere in Memphis for that). Again, this was on convenience mostly since it's incredibly close to work.

I hope things turn around for you GB. Wife and I went to an Olive Garden back in February for lunch. It was the day after an ice storm and nothing else nearby was open. So while it was just the one meal, it was certainly enough for me to understand what you're going through. :(

This can't possibly be healthy - the sodium intake alone has to be a killer....
Put it this way: I'm in the beginning stages of a pretty severe diet.
I made that comment about the dude eating 95 meals or some such nonsense before I saw your post, but yea - I hope you drink a crap ton of water all day long. Good luck with the Post Olive Garden Depression.
It'll be a celebration at this point.

What were you able to order? Were you able to get their 'fancy' meals?
You chose one of about a half-dozen pasta options, about six sauce options, and 4 meat options. My favorite combo is the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp.

But no, I can't get anything else besides that. Trust me, I've wanted to.

The description of what it's doing to your bathroom routine alone would have been worth it. We all probably would have pitched in to pay for the pass.

I have to laugh at the waiter being "always bored"

Oh great, it's the guy who takes one of my tables to eat breadsticks and salad, has me box up his pasta to go, and leaves two bucks.

Average bill is $10 before the pass and I leave 20%.

I've been following a blog where a guy has been using the Never ending pastapass for meals. He almost always gets them to go, and uses them for multiple meals. He has been tracking "value" and calories. For some reason, i find it absolutely fascinating.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't extremely disappointed in our boy Brady Marino. Or that I didn't hope he felt that shame and regret every single day. Not from eating Olive Garden every day, but from not live posting the experience for us.

Oh yeah, I think I saw him mention that he thought no one would be interested, but I would have liked to follow along. It would have been a classic thread.

Oddly enough, I am now cravin OG bread sticks and salad....
Me and the old lady went there last night. I ate like a pig. I had so many bread sticks and so much salad that when my meal came, I could barely eat any of it. Brought it home to eat tonight.

I guess I haven't been in an OG in a long time, because the place looked really different than I remember. I was pleasantly surprised.

I just got the Chicken Parmesan. Nothing special. I've said before, it's good, but what makes the place is the salad and bread sticks. I love those. Girl got stuffed Chicken Marsala. Again, she said it was good, but nothing special.

We were out Christmas shopping and just wanted a quick dinner. Works great. If it were an actual date night, we'd go to a top notch Italian dinner in town somewhere. Thousands to choose from. But we do enjoy the OG.
