One Super Bowl streak which should end... (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
As most of you know, there has never been a black head coach in any of the first 40 Super Bowls. You gotta figure there will be at least one this year, as both Indy and Chicago are favored. Before you ask, it shouldn't be a big deal.... but unfortunately, it is. And when it happens, it'll be a huge boost for the NFL in their quest to get more minorities into positions of authority. :D

(Just in case you were wondering)

Like Dungy doesn't have enough working against him, you fire up a jinx.

btw, both former Bucs coaches.

:D

Since the expansion Browns came back in 1999, they have lost to the eventual Super Bowl champ every season. There is only one club left alive that has beaten the Browns - the Saints. If the Saints don't win it all, the streak is broken.

This isn't much of a streak. It's hardly even a coincidence. The Browns lose to a third of the league each year.

Consider it broken - Thomas Jones is going to tear through that defense this weekend.

That is putting things generously. :P

Just don't imply that anybody in the media is hoping for it....
The media has it covered either way. Pats vs Saints gives them the good cop/bad cop of Hurricane Comeback City vs Bully Boy Bill Belichick.
