Every day I awake with one pleasureRokNRole, I think he is also implying that your pharmacy must have been closed on New Year's Day and you didn't get a refill before the holidays. Or maybe it is just me.
You should share your theories with your new boss and help him really confirm he made the right choice by transferring you to Dallas.

This has far more to do with insurance companies and what they will pay for than hospitals. Also, people recover faster from MOST surgeries by getting up and moving around. post-operative pneumonia used to be a major problem, but we've learned that movement, expanding and filling the lungs as soon as possible, is the single most important thing that can be done to prevent that pneumonia. We've also learned that patients often recover more effectively at homeAgreed, but they do act as factories in a sense of trying to move "product". My wife had some major surgery a few months back. She stayed one night. It was obvious the hospital wanted her out the next day to have the room.
thisYeah, I hear you. It can have that feeling a lot. The main problem with healthcare/hospitals is that there are so many masters to serve. Insurance companies will often approve only a one-night stay after a given procedure. You have to go a long way out of your way to justify why a person might need to stay another night or two, and they'll probably still push back and deny.
Also, in my experience, a hospital is about the worst place to convalesce, unless you're medically unstable and need monitoring/care round the clock. It's hard to sleep; you're confined to an uncomfortable bed; the food is bad and unhealthy and you are exposed to germs/disease/possibility of human error in medication administration. Much better off being home.
Why don't you believe that I am a garbage man?Good reads from people actually following the rules. Some of you are clearly posting about other professions. I mean, tip the garbage man? Give me a break.

Hospitals are focusing on value based purchasing which incorporates outcomes and quality against costs. The unspoken part of the equation is minimizing exposure.I'm an RN and can testify to this being wrong here too. We are ALWAYS looking for ways to get better. That said, patient satisfaction surveys are a lousy way to measure quality. Patients do NOT typically know what's good for them, and kissing patient's (more often in my case, patients' families) asses in order to get a better score undermines healing.
So I shouldn't buy chips from this Abby person?I used to manufacture computer chips.
intel used to sell Abby ch of varieties of chips, some high performance, some lower. In many cases these were the same chip designs, just that some tested better than the rest at end of line

Zing. You really got me there.
Zing. You really got me there. I completely agree and let every patient know that their crown is being made by our local laboratory just a few miles away... but I felt like that statement was made by a jaded ceramist who was venting.Alot of truth in this statement.
Also, Dentists remain the most highly compensated of the non-specialist medical professionals but insurance and huge school loans are limiting current profitability. And yeah, you might want to ask your Dentist if your crown was made in the USA. At one time, 1/3 of restorations were being made in unregulated countries like China.
average net income was $179,960 for general practitioner (GP) dentists and $320,460 for specialists in 2015. Also, the average annual net income was $195,200 for owner GPs
That is so crazy. The concept of the razor and razor blades sticks to billion dollar jets.I design/engineer fighter jets
- The technology that goes into a 5th gen A/C is even cooler and crazier than one could dream up.
- The time/money wasted by govt contractors would run a public company bankrupt in 2 months. This is across the board. Every program and every aspect of it.
- Big aerospace companies don't make their $ building jets, it's the 30+ years of performing maintenance, logistics support and contionius upgrades that bring in the $.
It is my eternal pleasure that unlike you I do not need to prop myself up on a message boardZing. You really got me there.
You are an interesting hybrid of the guy that always said "Inconceivable" in The Princess Bride and Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.

Sorry man, I didn't mention fraud anywhere.I completely agree and let every patient know that their crown is being made by our local laboratory just a few miles away... but I felt like that statement was made by a jaded ceramist who was venting.
I just don't see that level of "malpractice" floating around or hear about it when I talk to my broad dental network of friends.
Now, if you told me that dentistry could be done at a higher level than it is.. you bet. Is corporate dentistry heading towards ruining the profession? It just might be.
As for the latter statement... what does income level have to do with fraud? If someone is doing great in their profession maybe it's because they have great marketing, great business sense, are a good doctor doing a wide variety of procedures... it doesn't have to go straight to fraud land.

the mods should do something about them constantly derailing threads
Yes, "the Others" are always the problem. You, of course, share none of the blame.

Let me spell it out for you. Somebody asked you in one of your threads why you don't confine all of your questions, thoughts, etc. to one thread?
You replied that you tried to do that in your Dallas Year One thread, but it died out.
So, what conclusion would any reasonably intelligent person derive from that?
Thank the jabronis for always starting an arguementThreads like this are why nobody tries in the FFA any more. Could have been a good one.

the problem is the mods not enforcing the rules. They need to ban people for the constant personal attacks on me or others
