Ordering food at a restaurant (1 Viewer)

Nothing better than when my wife and I both want to order the same thing. I tell her to get it, I order my second choice, and then I get to finish 85% of hers once she's full after four bites.

If I'm waffling between 2 items I like to order last, then if anyone gets one of my choices I'll order what they got out of fear of it being more delicious than my other choice

Caveat: if steaks are being ordered I will make sure to get a different side dish so there's no chance of mixup on steak doneness

Is there more or less pressure if you are only two?
if its only two, the other person is most likely my wife and we don't really care.
That is about the only time I care. I want to order something different, because we will share food.
You can still share even if you order the same thing.

"My lasagna is delicious. How's your lasagna? Can I have a bite?"

For me it depends on the group and the number of people. I love tasting menus and getting a wide variety of things in one meal. However, I never expect to split something or put the onus on someone else for the table to have diverse options.

I like when the person right before me orders what I want...that way I can just tell the waiter "same".

Never happens to me cause I ask for extra gluten and for my ostrich to be prepared medium awesome.

I see nothing wrong with this if you the group is traveling and picked a restaurant off the beaten path, but if this is Friday night at the Bee, then those people can lick a ####

As far as I can recall I never have eaten lamb chops.
Then you haven't lived
i was fishing, but i really havent had them before. what do they taste like? are they good?
Was at a restaurant in WDW recently (California Grille) and had "Lamb T-Bones." Yummy.

I believe Lamb is delicious, but it is not everyone's favorite meat. To each their own.

It's OK for me if I order something that somebody else has ordered. I just try to order something new for myself or something I can't make very easily at home

You know that ostrich is the one bird that tastes far better when cooked well. The higher internal temps release a bunch of the binding tissues just beside the bone making it far more tender and juicy.

I've never thought twice about what anyone else orders in a group. Sometimes I'll change what I'm having when I'm with my wife, so we can share some of it.
Yup, the only time it matters to me what I am ordering is with my wife as we always get different things so we can try the others.
