Cabrera had a very good year in 2007 - with his move to Chitown can he repeat or even improve on those numbers? He has some big bats in that lineup.

He will tear it up. All-star season in the making.
really? he is middle of the pack in most mags - around $12/$260 - sounds like a good deal with upside - not too old?
He is entering the prime of his career. His offensive numbers will only rise in the hitter's park that is US Cellular. He has the goods to bring 75 plus RBIs and cranked out a nice avg. last year. Great work ethic. If this lineup clicks he will be more than formidable...

33 is old for a breakout year. He's been a pretty consistent performer at a thin position. The move to the South Side should give him a small bump in HRs but that's about it. His R & RBI numbers depend a lot on where he bats in the order.

Draft/buy him based on 2005-07 performance and hope he stays healthy.

The guy with the most value on that team? Jermain Dye. He will have a huge, huge bounceback year.

Josh Fields is my value pick on this squad, Swisher's no longer a sleeper; he's being drafted in the top 100 routinely. Cabrera is an ok selection where he's being picked, but I wouldn't expect anymore than last year. He projects as the White Sox's lead off, so his power potential is going to be extremely limited. I have him for roughly 310/95/8/55/20, but that's a very rough projection as I didn't put much time into it. He wont be on any of my teams. If I don't get a big gun and miss on Furcal I'm targetting Khalil Greene, Julio Lugo, and Peralta for dirt cheap. SS is deeper than many think.
