Now I'm hungry <_<When I go off the rails, the amount of food I can shove down my gullet is epic. Before the holiday's I would go out for lunch and eat things like this:
1. Burger King 2 for $10 whopper meal - Eat both whoppers, both fries and both drinks.
2. Wendy's 4 for $4, get 2 of those for $8
3. Garbage plates either for breakfast or late night snack. I ate 2 of these at one sitting once. Amazing
4. Wegmans sub, Large 14" sub, assorted with Mayo on white roll. Coke/md to drink and a bag or 2 of wise's onion rings or bbq fritos.
And just eating crap food when going out, met my buddy out before christmas at a local place. 20 wings sweet and sour (they make the crispy) served over mac salad and then appetizers of fried banana pepper coins and french fries. All for me.
Also, Frozen mountain dew from Speedway. Everytime I'd stop for gas, I'd run in and get one of these, any size only .75 and they are so good. Looked up the sugars in that thing just now. Woah.
This is tough. I'd go into restaurants and there would literally be nothing under 1000cals on the menu.I was on the road for 9 straight days so I'm happy to only be up 1 lb. from last week.
Neither do I. Great time to go.yeah, from Sun-Sat. Did the same thing 2 years ago...going with 3 of our other friends families...so should be a blast. I don't mind Disney like some adults...and it makes it easier with a big group.
I am on the road every other week and many restaurants make eating right difficult. Airports can be worse when you are in a hurry or in a small airport with few choices. I am trying to avoid the restaurants that serve mostly unhealthy food. I do not need the temptation. While that is not always possible, I am to the point where I am going to ditch co-workers to avoid the crappy, fatty food. Co-workers are going to think this is just another example of me being an #####. I can live with that. This is tough. I'd go into restaurants and there would literally be nothing under 1000cals on the menu.
Nice. Adding to the first post.I look spectacularly manly in my spandex. Besides, my manly spandex allowed me to run a 2,000 calorie deficit today. 2 hours - 155 average HR.
Also, @fantasycurse42, I played with a copy of the FFA spreadsheet and made the top part of it into more of a dashboard view. Feel free to steal for the official sheet if you want. I needed to reacquaint myself with google spreadsheets and this was perfect (God, I forgot how awful they are).

) keep it up they should win.I expect to hit a massive plateau somewhere near 290 and then really have to work. I'm usually in the 275-290 range but even that is no longer healthy for me even if my body frame can carry the weight with ease. My biggest problem is going to be Disney at the end of this month. I'm going to be good in the sense that I am not going to be the criminal glutton that I usually am there, but I'm not going to be saint. I'll probably gain back a lot of this weight there and then really have to buckle down in Feb and March and actually work at this more than just eating.......... healthy. Ugh, can't even type it.I still think somebody that started in the 260-280+ range is going to win. I've been about as clean as possible for 2 weeks - I don't think I have any 4+ lb weeks in me. I'd need to be at a about 2.25 loss a week the rest of the way to get to 18%. I'm not giving up by any stretch but if rick or hag or bnb (or if gator would stop toking up) keep it up they should win.
Nice job guys.
I know I have no 4+ lbs weeks left in me. Unless I try the potato thingI still think somebody that started in the 260-280+ range is going to win. I was thinking the opposite. Anyone in the 260-280 range that has dropped 15 lbs in the first tow weeks is looking at another 35 lbs or 3.5 x 10 weeks to get to 18%. That's a half a pound a day.I still think somebody that started in the 260-280+ range is going to win. I've been about as clean as possible for 2 weeks - I don't think I have any 4+ lb weeks in me. It's an acceptance of partial defeat. I've advanced on the enemy, but I know that before I continue on, I have to hit the red light district in the town we just took over. I'm gonna have fun for a little and I'm assuming they will try to take parts of the city back, but I'll get back on my feat shortly. And then they will pay.I know I have no 4+ lbs weeks left in me. Any of you guys who are travelling or going on vacations I don't know how you are going to do it. It would destroy me. Luckily (or really unluckily) I am going no where.
I think I would have no problem with losing weight at Disney were I to go again. The stuff (inside the park) is nasty. It's an acceptance of partial defeat. And yes, I just used a war metaphor to describe eating healthy or not while on vacation in Disney and likened Disney to a row of whorehouses in the seedy part of town. This is what no bourbon for over two months looks like people. It's not pretty.
I don't think we are talking about the same place.I think I would have no problem with losing weight at Disney were I to go again. The stuff (inside the park) is nasty.
Drinks might be another problem...
Academic issue becase I am never going again.

Start: 249.6
W1: 242.8 (down 7lbs)
W2: 239.6 (down 3lbs)
Total Loss: 10lbs (4.1%)
Possibly. Been twice. Hated it. Food was nasty. Kids (everybody's) were predictably annoying. No beer. Souvenir shops everywhere. Death rictus smiles on parents as they left the park with their offspring bouncing off the walls from sugar highs. Long lines for decent to not very interesting attractions. Crowds everywhere. No beer.I don't think we are talking about the same place.

iirc those were 300+ calories per 12ozI'm already falling apart, and I'm two weeks away from a two week business trip in a hotel with catered food. Oof
On the bright side, I'm pretty sure the hotel has a small gym, and I'll have no children or wife there, so there's really no excuse for me to NOT spend 45 minutes each day on an elliptical and some weights. So if I can somehow resist the urge to eat garbage in those two weeks, it's a chance for a little healthy vacation and good habits for 15 or 16 days. May be just what I need.
Oh and thanks, MLK, for the holiday. Instead of fasting today, I'm home, drinking Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stouts and snacking. Although food has been OK; for lunch we seared a couple of tuna steaks with some soy and wasabi.
Well, the bottle doesn't say, but it does say 10% alcohol, which explains why Mrs. O and I are already shihammered.iirc those were 300+ calories per 12oz![]()
Maybe but I guess I think 3-4 lb weeks are realistic for the heftier guys. I know they say 2 lbs a week but like anything else with diet it's not one size fits all. Look at hag's numbers so far - there's no reason he can't have 4-5 lb weeks for several more weeks (IMO). Granted I'm not recommending it for long term losses but he could.I was thinking the opposite. I pretty much knows how this plays out over 3 or 6 months. 3 months would be about 12-15% but then again I've never started from quite this tall a summit.Maybe but I guess I think 3-4 lb weeks are realistic for the heftier guys.   @ "heftier" ... isn't that what you call fat kids?  Didn't think it should apply to us fat adults. How long ago was it that you went? 3 of the 4 parks have beer and while there's a few places where the food is just ok most of the sit down places are pretty good nowadays.Possibly. Yankee - I think I mentioned it before but my last trip down was after I lost a bunch of weight - got down under 180 and then went to Disney and just blew it out - ate and drank like I was a cross between Belue, Gaston and Poomba. I came home and basically didn't stop for 14 months. Don't be me.
Yes... that too! I remember my brother had to get "husky" jeansI think you're thinking of husky@ "heftier" ... isn't that what you call fat kids? Didn't think I should apply to us fat adults.
I've never been to DL just DW - go to WDW and drink around the world at Epcot - I know some people get bored by World Shiwcase but I could spend days there eating, drinking and learning about other cultures. And drinking.Last trip was Anaheim 2011 I believe
Maybe Disneyworld should not be your top option for that, just sayingI've never been to DL just DW - go to WDW and drink around the world at Epcot - I know some people get bored by World Shiwcase but I could spend days there eating, drinking and learning about other cultures. And drinking.

I actually enjoyed disney. I mostly just sit around people watching and soaking up the rays. I let the kids use my fast pass. Too bad they don't sell weed there. Would make it a pretty awesome experience. That place is so clean and organized and the staff are so nice.Possibly. Been twice. Hated it. Food was nasty. Kids (everybody's) were predictably annoying.
