Otis fad diet thread — yoga, fasting, and kevzilla walking on🚶‍♂️ (5 Viewers)

THin slim is pretty expensive, but what really kills you is the shipping that almost doubles the price. But if you use their coupon code (easily obtainable online or at their site), you get free shipping on orders over $100. SO I ordered a few moonths product for the freezer and slapped on the coupon and coast went from 140 to 100.

I recommend the bread, bagels and breading. Have not tried anything else yet.

Started yoga yesterday, went again today.   gonna give it a go and see what happens. I do sweat like a mofo while doing it
DA RAIDERS<<<<< sweaty DA RAIDERS<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<SwEATY DARAIDERS IN PRONE DOG POSITION

Do people fart a lot during yoga classes? Is there music to drown it out? Do the hot yoga girls giggle at it or are grossed out?

I think everyone is consciously trying not to, but most classes there will be a case in which one loses focus at some point and let's one fly.

Finally saw the number on the scale go down after a week of stagnation.

Have an appointment to see the ortho doctor on Monday to find out what's going on with my elbow. It hurts like a m-efffer.

Still running and sweating.

Very surprised.  After 5 days of intense drinking and eating at a ski weekend, I returned to Chicago to find minimal damage.  Back on track now at 268.

Wife's now away at her girls' ski weekend and I woke up to the following text:

"Mary will give you e blow job if you can figure it out!"

No other context.  I don't know whether to be happy or mad.  ETA:  Mary is one of her friends at the ski weekend.

I like this Mary woman already.

Breakfast: Oatmeal, banana and yogurt

Lunch: Chicken and broccoli over basmati rice, celery, carrot, cucumber, apple

Dinner:  Hibachi place with my daughter.  Likely chicken and vegetables, should make out fine here.

Still treading water within a half pound of my low point, but been 2 weeks now of no progress due to mixing in too much booze and not being as disciplined on diet. Got a work trip in 2 weeks that I would like to restart progress before.

Oh, and it's been a rough week.

Monday, farewell bbq with ex-business partner in Peru, we probably had two six packs and two bottles of booze (some of which with soda (ginger ale or coke) dilution) on top of delicious beef and hot dogs

Tuesday/Wednesday in transit between Peru and Denmark - as I hate airplane food I had McD twice in 24 hours (and some of the airplane food, obviously)

Yday. reasonable day, except a bit heavy on sandwishes and beer - did have a potato meal (with spicy tomato sauce) before the six pack of quality German pils

Today was alright, except for the  homemade pizza and the bottle of wine I just consumed.

I feel bloated.

I had a huge amount of travel for work 2 weeks back and that did not help.

Have a decent amount coming up in the next 2 weeks as well... After that though, I'm a go - still under starting weight, but prob up about 5-6 pounds from 2017 lows.

Not in the competition, but have been playing along at home.  Dropped 9 lbs in January to 185 to prepare for Mexican vacation.  Ate and drank like crazy this past week.  Caught the runs early this morning and hoping to be weighing Sunday AM less than a pound up  :coffee:

I hit the road again on Monday. Return Friday night and am gone again Monday through Thursday.  I am taking next week off from the weights and may not have much time for cardio either.  It will come down to diet next week and that is not a strength for me. I hope to return after the first week within one pound of where I left.  Have to be realistic.

Damn nice.  How'd you do it?
To be honest, I have restricted my calorie intake very drastically, and I've been running, biking, and weights pretty consistently too.

M-F I've stayed under 1,000 calories per day, with at least two of those days at a max of 600. It hasn't been easy. I've eaten more fruits and vegetables the past month than I think I have my entire life. And lots of beans.

I have also resisted breads and sweets. And this has probably been the biggest thing for me. I have such a sweet tooth. But for the past month I have probably only had bread maybe twice, and sweets maybe twice as well.

The other thing that has helped... I have tried to stay busy. Where normally would be laying on the couch watching TV, instead I have been doing lots of house projects and yard work. This has made time go by much quicker with less time to be thinking about eating.

I won't lie, there have been temptations. But I have been mostly depressed with my weight and appearance.  I am very determined to at least get down to my wedding weight of 185 lbs. I'm almost there, and I hope to go a little further.

That said, I'm feeling so much better about myself. I put on my cool jeans today, and they are actually a little loose. My wife commented that I am looking really good. It's all motivation to keep up the hard work.

Thanks to everyone in here, because all of you have helped make this a very fun and positive experience. I couldn't have done it without you. Especially you Otis. And I mean that sincerely.

After a great week and day, I am also high into a pitcher of Shiner Bock, and I'm now onto a glass of Bedtime tea with a generous pour of Bulleit whiskey. The wife is now bathing before we do dirty things to each other.

Despite two weeks in a hotel in a pressure cooker situation working and eating, I managed to lose a little.  I'll take it.

Really awesome. Congrats on your progress.  Keep it up.  Stories like yours are motivating for those of us who are still a bit behind.

HTF do you survive on so few calories?  And you're exercising?  Your will-power game is strong my friend.
