Outlook for Jennings and Driver on MNF? (1 Viewer)

Brett Favre (questionable, elbow) returned to practice fully Friday.

The Packers took Thanksgiving off, giving Favre a full day to rest his dinged-up elbow. Explosive rookie wideout Greg Jennings was not on this week's injury report, meaning Green Bay's receiving corps will be close to full strength at Seattle on Monday Night Football.

I expect and hope this will be a fantastic game.....so many side stories and it's MNF.

I can see Favre playing well meaning atleast one TD for Jennings or Driver, perhaps both :)

I also see Seattle winning the game something like 34 - 27.

If Favre is ready to go, I think the GB WR's will do well. SEA gives up the 7th highest fantasy PPG to WR's out of all NFL teams. Add to that statistic the liklihood that GB will be down in the 2nd half and playing catch up, and I think that some solid numbers are a good bet for Driver and Jennings. ...but I'm starting Driver in one league, so I'm probably overly optimistic.

Haven't decided between Jennings and Santonio Holmes as #3. If Jennings is 100% healthy, then I may go that way. I doubt Favre is as bad this week as last..

Madden is all set to throw out his man love for Brett Favre. Should be a real barn-burner.
I suspect Madden will not talk about Favre all that much and will instead focus on the QB's in the game he is actually calling on Sunday night- Manning and Garcia. But that's just me....

they are forecasting a chance of snow here in Seattle on Monday. I doubt we get snow but it will be pretty chilly - nothing new for Favre but something to keep an eye on.

jennings has been pretty quiet the last few weeks but showed alot of toughness playing through his ankle injury. if he is 100% healthy, i may trot him out over cotch especially since favre usually comes up huge on MNF.

Favre was hobbling last week then hurt his arm/wrist. If it wasn't him, no way I'd expect a good game. I'm just not touching that game this week.

I have the same decision to make. currently, I have Cotchery in, but that could change

I also have Cotchery and Jennings. I say we all play the same guy and live and die by our mutual decision. So who will it be?

Jennings at Seattle - 19th ranked pass defense

Cotchery vs. Houston - 25th ranked pass defense

I would definately go Jennings of Cotchery. That said, I will be putting in Horn and Mark Clayton to go with Driver and sit Jennings.

Looks like Favre is good to go!

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports Brett Favre took every first-team snap Friday and confirms that Favre will start Monday night.

Skipping Wednesday's practice and taking Thanksgiving Day off appears to have done Favre some good. "Favre looked really sharp," Packers offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski said. "We didn't have one drop. It was probably the best practice we've had this whole season."

If Favre is ok I am actually thinking about starting them both. I just think Favre will show out on MNF and there should be a lot of passes thrown this game.
