I like the points to be high also. I think NE will try to turn this into a blow out early, trying to prove to many that this 19-0 team is the greatest team ever, of which I've already said win (by a little or a lot) or lose, they aren't the greatest team ever in my books.

I say the score will be something like NE 45, NYG 27

Heard on the radio today that LOTS of smart money coming in on the over. Head bookmaker in Vegas very concerned that a lot of the same smart money on the Giants (not only to cover, but also on the outright win bet). Sounds fishy to me. How can the Giants win a shootout against the Pats?? He also said that they haven't adjusted the line downward (opened at 13, now at 12) because they expect a lot of last minute money on the Pats.

Who knows... If I had to bet I'd say it will be a high scoring game, with the Pats winning big. I think the Pats score early and ruin the Giants' game plan to run the ball and control the clock.

Wow, this is correct. Just checked on this.As of 8:14PM on 1/28 - 40% on the over.

As of 12:01AM on 2/02 - 54% on the over.

Huge swing.....

I would say that this is a direct correlation to the "wait and see" on the real condition of Brady's ankle, and the revelation in the end that there's really nothing wrong with it going by the injury report released on 1/30.

I would bet some of it is also the result of many thinking the Patriots are pissed about Spygate being a story again and might want to run it up.

One other thing that I expect. I think we will see at least one defense/special teams touchdown. If this does indeed happen, it will be hard for the game not to go over.

Patriots 59 - Giants 13

This accomplishes 4 things:

1) Pats 19-0

2) Pats break SF's Super Bowl Scoring Record (55)

3) Pats break SF's Super Bowl Margin of Victory Record (45)

and most importantly:

My box with 9 and 3 wins :goodposting: :goodposting:

How does one check on this Jeff?

I'll take the under. I have seen both of these teams play some sloppy football in recent playoff games. Injuries are looming and I see 1st quarter jitters.

Took me a while to find it, but vegasinsider.com had a site that had the info.LINK

I believe I got that direct link from the wagering thread in the FFA, because I hadn't found that info directly before either.....

If anyone else has a better / easier link to find, that'd be nice to know.

It s going to be 28-3 for the Pats before the Giants figure out they actually play in the Super Bowl.

Final score 45 -17 Pats , i guess over would be a safe bet.
