Overhead Projector = LOGO for son's bedroom (1 Viewer)

Well my son wants a very large logo of our local school which Broken Arrow. He wants me to paint it as well. How can I get this image on the wall without using an old school projector? Do they sill have the old school kind? Tips appreciated.

When my wife taught and we were having our first kid (5 years ago) she brought home the old school projector and did a stencil on the wall, then painted it. Turned out great.

It was the last one the had at her school, so I'm not sure how easy they are to find.

We used an old school projector in the basement for a Rangers logo.

Go way old school. Get the logo on a piece of paper. Draw grid lines on the page (say one inch square or a half-inch square). Then use a pencil to recreate the grid on the wall according to scale. Then recreate the logo on the wall by drawing it one square at a time on the grid. We used to make amazing posters and murals like that when I was in school.

This seems like too much work. I'd just tell the kid he was gonna get the logo, but he lost it because he [got a bad grade/didn't clean his room/was mean to his sister/whatever].

Step 1- purchase projector at local electronics shop

Step 2- project logo, trace it

Step 3- return projector to local electronics shop for refund

Step 4- be voted best dad ever

(Eta- most projectors will work in any mount configuration, including straight up, just don't block the fans )

Go to a local AV rental place or hotel. I'm sure they'll sell you one for cheap. They're mostly paperweights at this point, just filling up a storeroom.

Agree with DaVinci, with the Fathead sticker, if you should move, you could instantly take it off. You might even be able to save it.
