Same exact thing for me. Before our rosters locked yesterday I picked up Shockey as insurance and in hopes he can bring in some upside. I'll be watching him closely on MNF and if he's being targeted enough OD hits the bench. Fortunately I already locked up the #1 spot and have a bye going into the playoffs.Gives me a chance to evaluate my entire roster since a lot of players have been helter skleter this year.

I have the exact same TEs and if Schaub isn't back next week I'm going with Miller. The TExans don't have that favorable of a matchup anyway.
The matchups are probably favorable to Owen Daniels (vs. Packers, vs. Titans and vs. OAK), but not to Andre or Walter.But I agree, Owen owners need Schaub back ASAP !!!!
Same situation. I have a bye next week, but would like to see something from him going into week 15. I think Schaub helps his value (can't hurt, obv) so I will be riding him out the rest of the way.

Agreed. 6-65 and he had one punched out at the goal line that could have been a TD. Im rolling with him in the QUarterfinals of playoffs/ Cmon big guy!
I'm in the same boat as you. I think I'm rolling with OD just because the game is in Houston. I expect both of them to have good games this weekend.
Who did you end up going with last week, spanker? I recall we were both in the same situation last week. I ended up rolling with Daniels and he and Shockey were even in points (OD had 1 more catch and slightly more yards but he coughed up a fumble). I think I'm rolling with Daniels again. I didn't realize Bears were #28 against the pass. I can see them playing tough at home though.
I rolled with OD last week. I think Brees may have to pass alot in this game (not like he never does) but Miller didn't even have a sighting last game.Brees should be able to pass on the Bears with no problem. TENN is pretty tough in bringing heat and last time they played Shaub got hurt I believe. Heck AJ only had 2 catches himself. Houston is at home but TENN D is pretty tough.

In this boat as well. Leaning OD's way, but one thing that could take me back to Scheff is my opponent has Cutler as QB. So, waying the "minimize QB impact" by going with Scheffler (also have Royal) vs. going with OD.
These are the two players I am debating as well. Although Football Outsiders indicates the Bears are better at defensing the TE than the Titans (both are in the Top 10 in that regard). What is swaying me in Daniels direction however is that he has a rapport with Schuab and less competition for targets than Shockey.
Miller didn't have a single catch last week. Yes there are more players to target but that will free up Shockey even more for catches.
I actually like how the first half shaped up for Daniels. Believe the Titans came out from half with one main objective - that A.J. gets contained. And we know the Titans will score so Houston can't just hammer Slaton in the 4th quarter. I like the x-factors at play and I have a hunch Daniels gets his here in the 2nd half.
Don't over think it. Shaub came back, Daniels had a very good game.
