Owen Daniels - Keep or cut bait? (1 Viewer)

OK, I understand that the guy is coming back from knee surgery... but 6 catches and 61 yards through 3 games has me a little concerned. Is he worth hanging on to? Any chance he returns to his pre-injury form? With guys like Moeaki, Watson, Scheffler, Pettigrew, etc. on the WW, I'm getting tempted to drop Daniels. Thoughts from other Daniels owners or Texans fans?

It seems to me that if you have a deep roster and have the luxury of stashing him on your bench, he could emerge as a very nice late season "sleeper". I wouldn't start him until he has a good game in the meantime, though. ACL's always take a long time to recover from. If you can grab a Moeaki until Daniels is 100%, that seems to be a good strategy.

Daniels stats have improved each week and he was tackled on the 1yd line this week. So I definitly expect bigger things as the season progresses.

my opinion too, and with AJ out, he will be getting more looks for sure.I have him stashed on my bench, using Carlson in the mean time. It's an expensive bench spot but i hope it pays off down the road.

I just dropped Daniels for Moeaki early this morning myself. I also have Jermaine Gresham, and I'll be playing matchups with them the rest of the year.

Also doing TE carousel in 10-team PPR. TE is deep this year...these guys are on Waivers as of this morning (some weird drops happened just before the weekend)

I assume Keller will go with a hi waiver pri. I have Hernandez/NEP and am ok with him for now, esp against MIA this weekend who gave up that huge game to Keller week 3.
