(RotoWire) Daniels (knee) signed a four-year, $22 million contract with Houston, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports. Analysis: With those numbers, it's hard to believe that the Texans would have any reservations about keeping Daniels their starting tight end, even with Joel Dreessen's impressive showing last year.

That's some serious coin. Looks like he remains the starting option and should remain a top TE for the next 2-3 years at least.

Daniels might be the most underrated TE in FF. He doesn't get the recognition some TEs do, but this dude is one of the best, especially in that offense. Daniels has the potential to finish as the top-ranked TE, IMO.

He was on-pace for 1000 yards and 10TD before he tore his ACL. He also started coming on toward the end of last season. Assuming the Texans don't do something significant in addressing the #2 WR position, he should be a fantastic value.

I hear you buddy... unless Casey gets traded I don't hold out much hope for him. Daniels is the guy going forward, and to be honest I think he deserves this deal.
