Think of how many he'd have if completions to guys in the wrong uniform counted.
2 Superbowls, 1 Championship, 3 MVP's, all time completions record, 7 behind Marino for TD tosses...And most importantly, he's a great guy who loves the game, not himself like most arrogant NFL stars..I think us Pack fans will live with the picks...

Is this seriously a thread started to try to minimize Brett Favre's career accomplishments? If so, good luck winning that argument. Ridiculous really. Brett Favre is one of the few players that represents everything that is good about the NFL these days :goodposting: If you haven't taken the time to appreciate the heart and dedication he's given to the game of football then it's your loss I guess  This thread should be locked immediately for idiocy.

You call it idiocy, yet bring it down another level with this drivelThis is an NFL record that has stood for 31 years.

It deserves attention.

I'm pretty sure there might be a correlation between the consecutive games started by a QB record and the interception record. I guess if you ask a guy to play 255 FRIGGIN GAMES IN A ROW AS A QUARTERBACK IN THE NFL he might have alot of interceptions to go along with his MVP trophys, Super Bowl ring, passing records, etc. Paging the idiocy police? It has become an urgent situation.

I agree with you. This important milestone is not being given its due.

I don't think he represents EVERYTHING that is good about the NFL. I seem to recall him calling out Javon Walker publicly last season. That's never a good thing, regardless of how he might have felt about Walker's actions.

This is like saying what LT2 is doing is not important because he's scored multiple TDs in a record 8 consecutive games.

Perhaps not EVERYTHING, but the NFL could sure use more guys with the type of character that Brett, LT, Driver, Holt, etc. have. I really have no use for prima donnas like T.O. and the others. They drive me away from the NFL.

Actually it's like saying that when a QB plays 255 games in a row, he'll probably have more interceptions than any other quarterback in the history of the NFL. And oh yeah, this thread still stinks of idiocy :pics:

Look, if you want to stoop to name calling and don't care about celebrating NFL history in the making, stay out of the thread. Its really that simple

Guy needs to retire ASAP.
You ain't kidding. When there are superstars in the making like Garrard and Carr, there is no reason for one of the greatest ever to stick around and look....BETTER than them.
Trying to find where I posted that those 2 are better than Favre.. Oh yea, I didn't .Favre is hurting that team now. Pretty easy to see
Yeah the Packers would be much better off with Ingle Martin playing QB right now. :lmao:

I would have never stooped to name calling if you hadn't altered one of my posts. I don't really know if that kind of thing goes on around here often but it seems like a pansy-ish thing to do if you ask me. You win, Favre has had a garbage career and can't hold a candle to some of the finest Bears QBs of all-time. And when things get tight in a debate, just change the other guy's posts :lmao:

Perhaps before you start one of these ridiculous threads you might consider that Blanda attempted 4,007 passes in his career and Favre has attempted 8,094 to the end of 2005  Please just submit.

Its probably best to say nothing, but if he's going to make it public, at least Favre supported his team, unlike Brady (Branch) and Urlacher (Briggs).

Well, it no longer qualifies as easy. Its approaching down right difficult now.BTW, what does this have to do with the fact he's on the verge of breaking the record?

Limp, everyone one of your posts reek of jealousy..Favre owned you guys in the late 90's to early 2000's. I can see your anger and resentment towards him. But if you were a true fan of the game, you would realize the contributions he's given much like an Elway, Montana, or Payton. The thing I like about Brett is that he's a simple guy. Rides around on his mower and chops wood for fun in the offseason instead of hanging around in night clubs participating in shootings. You just can't say that about a lot of high caliber players anymore. Even one of your own fans admits your team could use a QB half as good as #4. I'm pretty sure I speak for all Packer fans when I say I hope he plays until his arm falls off..

Funny thing about all this is that I'm not a Packers fan, nor a Bears fan, but I actually hope the Bears do well this year. Just can't help it when I something so stupid.
