**Packers 9-3-1 at Broncos 11-2**(+1, 42.5) 4:25 (14 Viewers)

A battle of 2 teams in the mix for the #1 seed, but both strike me as not as good as their records. I feel more strongly about Denver in that regard. I think the Packers D makes life tough for the Broncos offense and expect this to be a strong Micah Parsons game. I've liked how often the Packers are lining him up inside, as another wrinkle to the defense.

For Green Bay, Christian Watson is playing his best football post-ACL tear. GB moves their WRs around a ton, so I don't expect Surtain to be locked onto him, and I think anytime its Watson v Moss, they'll take that shot. I'd bet on another TD, even if its maybe a quieter day yardage wise. I think Josh Jacobs (who seems like he's playing) could hit some big runs against a Broncos defense that's better against the pass than the run (though that may be changing with Greenlaw)

The AFC is going through New England.

Denver defense allows the fewest rushing ypc in the NFL
They are tied for 1st in NY/A against the pass, I would rather attack the Broncos D on the ground if I were Matt LaFleur, was my point.

Fair enough. But you also said "Jacobs could hit some big runs." Why would you believe that against a run D giving up 3.7 ypc on the year?

That I think they'll wear them down a bit, and while he won't be consistently gaining yards, he could break a couple big ones, just off volume.

Yeah, you're being nice here, that was a backtrack.

Another week another big Packer game against one of the NFLs top teams. Packers are again at their best as they have been all year against good competition with a national audience. Frustrating as they continue to play to the level of their competition, but as the playoffs approach competition only gets stiffer so it's becoming a good problem as the soft part of the schedule is long gone.

Packers D is the heartbeat of the team and if we can get a hold or two called when Parsons is in a headlock, even just the really really bad ones the pass rush will become even more lethal, we'll see if the refs have the stomach for it. Still hurts losing Wyatt, but they're good enough to overcome without too much drop off. I'm officially in the Keisean Nixon fan club. He's not perfect, but I love the way he plays. The guy is a dog.

Offense continues to be efficient. It's a very solid unit and Love still doesn't get the respect he probably deserves. The guy really is playing at a high level. Jacobs put the team on his back to close the game out last week, but he's still not right. Wilson popped up on the injury report with an illness, but if he's good this afternoon i hope he gets a little more run to try and let Jacobs heal up for next week and for the playoff run. Watson is reborn and I'm here for it, another week closer to a full gas Reed, Musgrave caught that pass last week and i hope he keeps making the most of his opportunities.

I mean, maybe let the game play out before the excuses come out.

It's like, I'm calling a non-call hold on Bonitto now, maybe even TWO, gosh darn it all!

Good luck dude. We'll see how Love does, it's his time now, no excuses.

Absolutely no excuses made here. Parsons is a beast and he does just fine against bear hugs, headlocks, double and triple teams. If you don't think he's being mugged beyond what is normally called we can agree to disagree, but it hasn't slowed him much and i don't expect it will today either. Would be nice to see the blatant holds called is all and it would make a lethal pass rush that much better

What excuses for Love? My comment is that he's playing great and not getting the respect he deserves. I'm certainly not making an excuse there either.

Good luck to you today aswell. Truthfully I don't know much and Denver outside of highlights. Looking forward to seeing what one of the AFCs best brings against one of the NFCs.

Edit. The website is wonky and i got cut off, but the end of the quote about Wyatt wasn't an excuse either, but a compliment to the D not skipping a beat. The part you quoted cut that off and maybe that wasn't intentional either, but definitely not an excuse.

Everything @The Longtime Lurker said could be said about Denver 😬😊😁

I know not many are recommending Love today, but the Broncos are good against the run too. I'm looking for a 24-21 type of game and I think Jordan Love gets at least two passing TDs. He probably has a floor of 15 pts, mid range of 18, and if you get 20+ treat it as gravy.
