Packers Cut B.J. Sander (1 Viewer)

The Packers cut punter B.J. Sander today. Sander was a third-round pick three seasons ago and easily one of the most ridiculed (and deservedly so) moves of Mike Sherman's GM tenure. An absolutely wretched draft decision that Ted Thompson put an end to today.

So long B.J.; maybe the Texans will have ya.

Traded up to get him. Sherman set this team back 10 years with his inept personel prowess.

For those who are keeping track, here is a quick list of Sherman draftees still with the team. Mind you this guy was in charge of the draft from 2001-2004. The only other player he drafted that I can think of is Hunter Hillenmeyer that is still in the league.

Nick Barnett

Robert Ferguson

Ahmad Carroll

Scott Wells

Najeh Davenport

Aaron Kampmann

Kenny Peterson

That's 4 year's worth. Only 3 players in 4 years are worth squat. And 1 of those players was cut in preseason and ended up playing for the Bank One Bears.

The Texans already have a decent punter. He's had plenty of practice the past few years.I still don't understand why the Texans won't just cut Kris Brown (PK) though. That guy is awful.

The Texans have so many mistakes, if they cut them all they would have to promote their practice squad to fill the team.
