Packers vs Lions - Week 17 (1 Viewer)

Damn really wanted NO to get home field.  Really don't want GB making the Super Bowl.  Give me NO or SF.

If you ever wanted to see a textbook coaching loss, this was it.  The Lions will never win a playoff game with him calling the shots.

That was just sad.  My heart goes out to Lions fans, I feel for you.

ETA: I'm hard pressed to recall a worse job by a head coach....ever.  There was a lot of coaching 101 stuff that he just flat got wrong.  It was like he'd never seen an NFL game in his life.

I didnt think the OPI on Kumerow was a bad call... he pushed off pretty clearly and disrupted the CBs speed to create space

I also didnt think the personal foul on Rodgers slide was a bad call... he was giving himself up- you cant hit a qb. Rodgers baited him, and I'd be ticked if it were my team- the player had a millisecond to not hit him, but even as Rodgers as going down the defender didnt let up. Helmet to helmet, or lck there of, doesnt matter- you cant hit a qb giving himself up. if you are already in the process of hitting him then you need to try and let up.

I'd argue the Lions were the best 3 win team ever.  They should have swept GB, but I'm not allowed to talk about why.
My verbiage was clumsy. I was implying they’re the weakest 12 loss team, e.g., they were a lot better than their record.

Please break down what Patricia screwed up?

How about only calling eight RB carries in the second half while rocking a 14 point lead after rushing for 112 yards in the first half (with a third string QB)?
His playcalling and "clock management" were horrible

You can't call the game like Stafford is in there BECAUSE STAFFORD ISN'T IN THERE

Really weird stat.

Packers never led the Lions this season, yet they are 2-0. Both games, game ending FG's to win it as time expires.

The Packers definitely had a bit of luck against the Lions this season.  Its unbelievable GBP swept the division, 6-0.

NFC North Championships this decade:

Packers - 6

Bears - 2

Vikings - 2

Lions - 0
