Pacman on pre-game right now on CBS (1 Viewer)

he may very well be innocent of this latest allegation, but this PR stand is NOT helping his image...his responses, demeanor, etc make him a totally unsympathetic character

Smug, clueless, looked like he was trying to save his "street cred" more than he was trying to take advantage of a great opportunity to come clean and admit he's really screwed up. This little boy needs to shut his mouth and get himself a mentor that will give him some perspective on real life. He's gonna need a coach and teamates that don't take crap if he ever gets another shot in the NFL.
 
he came across as an uneducated, cocky thug. Gotta love how his lawyer kerp being forced to interrupt him and correct his meaning. Maybe its just me, but when I see a lawyer on the same screen, I cant help but think he is there to hid things.

WOW! He may not speak well but he didn't look like a THUG.
 
Maybe I watched a different interview, but he just seemed to be on to advertise his newest business venture to me?

He reminded me of many bullies/thugs I've seen in my life when they try to act all innocent. Not so much that he was about to attack the host or anything. The whole interview was him just repeating the same things he says every time he's been caught. I saw no remorse at all in him, just a bunch of hollow words.
 
He came across as a guy that really doesn't think he's done much of anything wrong. When asked about the fight with the body gaurd supplied by the Cowboys, all he said was "I had a drinking problem that he "took care of..".

Hey Pacman, IF you HAD a drinking problem, you STILL have a drinking problem, even if you are on the wagon now. He still doesn't get it. He also said that strip clubs are just like any other club. Then he said "I likes the strip clubs." :popcorn:

Yea, he mentioned AA but if he was really 'working the program' he would have never made any of those statements about 'had' a drinking problem and that he 'has' taken care of it. He also made a comment about a strip club being just like any other club.

 
You have to love how Pacman gets nailed for everything even stuff that happened in the past, that was already covered by the media. But wait Pacman has not gotten into trouble so lets rehash something that happened in 2007 that the NFL and the ALT Police were aware of and the fact that they have nothing on the guy does not matter.

But on the flip side Marvin Harrison may or maynot of shot some one. at the very least his gun did, yet he gets a free pass by the media, NFL and most NFL fans.

I just hope that everyone here faces the same focus on their past that Pacman has.

ANd I am not a Pacman fan I think he belongs in Jail, but for the media to bring up old news like it is new news is just wrong No matter who it is.

 
Why do they keep giving this moron a stage?

Has there ever been a more famous person with less talent and less accomplishments in the history of ever?

A crime is a crime. Does not matter how long you been in the league or how many times you had"run in" with the police.I am held accountable for any crime I do. So should Marvin and Pacman. ANd so far Pacman has been able to avoid being convicted of any wrong doing.

If you have had 0 run ins with police you tend to get the benefit of the doubt. If you are always in the wrong place at the wrong time you will lose that. I have less of a problem with someone like Marvin Harrison who has never been in trouble vs someone like Adam Jones who has a pretty significant pattern of trouble.
 
dallas needs to get tougher on players, wade and jerry know that. No way pacman returns as he hinted at

I wouldn't bet on that.I think Pacman reacted that way to the last question for a reason.Jerry would absolutely have the ego and the stupidity to want to really really prove this time that he's smart enough to re-sign Pacman and have him be productive.

Didn't seem that bad to me. I wouldn't give him a shot if I was an NFL owner but the comments in this thread made me think the video was much worse than it was. Kind of boring.

 
Didn't see the interview, didn't need to. I pretty much know how it went. Nothing new to see there...

Pacman is the perfect example of someone who needs to just GO AWAY! So tired of hearing about this

thug who has no business being in the NFL. And minus some flashes here and there, he doesn't seem

all that talented, compared to others who are, and belong in the NFL...

I was a prosecutor for 20 years. Never did I inform a defendant he couldn't make statements to the media. I didn't have that power, and I loved when they talked and made recorded statements. Rarely too are the times the Court will instruct the parties to not talk to the media. This defense attorney crap with them coming out, making self serving lies, and then stating that they cannot answer questions needs to be challenged for the crap it is. I would love to see some interviewer, when confronted with the gambit respond: "That's not true. We have discussed that with our lawyers and independent scholars and it is just not so. Why the need to lie to us if things are as your client says? Only liars and the guilty need to control message, the honest and the truthful and the innocent know that the truth will set them free. How do you feel about coming in here and attempting to play us, and our audience, for chumps? Are you worried your lie will backfire and inure to your client's detriment since you are a paid whore speaking on his behalf?"

Regardless of the response that would be T.V. worth watching.

Since the season ended I heard Jerry Jones on Michael Irvin's radio show and thought wow does this guy not realize he's out of the playoffs? everything's perfect and rosy? Shortly after Cowboys fans called up with very very similar sentiment. Next time, he was almost apologetic for the 08 season. Night and day difference. I would guess reality hit with the rival Giants and Eagles playing each other this week and all. Pacman was cut and a new ST coach with quotes and stats in the paper where he says they were ineffective and well really they were bad. The world is a different place when an owner has a new billion dollar stadium. Arizona fans saw their owner spend some $$ which they almost had to dream about before that. Jerry's gonna be changing some the next few months.
